I’ve been having a lot of conversations about DeSci recently, and one detail struck me as particularly interesting: Not many people seem to have $RSC on their radar. What’s even more surprising is how few realize that @brian_armstrong, co-founder and CEO of @coinbase, is also the co-founder and CEO of @ResearchHub. This isn’t just a symbolic title or a passive advisory role - he is the active CEO, driving the project forward. For context, Brian’s first startup, Coinbase, is now valued at $75 billion, making it the first publicly listed crypto company and arguably one of the most influential forces shaping the industry. US people and elites don’t understand crypto because it’s adoption is the exact opposite of how tech normally gets adopted Remember Facebook. It started amongst the winners (at Ivy leagues) and then spread to the losers. Crypto was the opposite- it started with the losers. Winners don’t take their cues from losers So today @ResearchHub is a researcher in Brazil. And those at Harvard? Maybe when it’s too late for them they’ll use @ResearchHub

I submitted my first review last week. I've been mentioning the site to people in my department. If budget allows a good way to get word to university labs would be to have a program in place where faculties can get awarded like 50-100 RSC for their annual in house conferences. As a student poster/talk prize. Or maybe ResearchHub could even start it's own annual Future Researchers thing where grad students can submit posts and like 3 minutes videos. You could have them judged by users. People could submit themselves as judges and the system can randomly assign a few posters by number. That way it would be hard to game the system. Anyway. I am rambling. I have a million ideas. So much potential here.
