There’s something very satisfying about seeing actual flight hardware being assembled.

This is a test engine that won’t fly — but I’m with you in spirit !

I listened to you at the All In Podcast. You seemed like a good guy. I hope you succeed in bringing back supersonic passenger flight. 🤞

How do you scale this if assembling by hand?

Two turbines / month = 1GW/year. It’s actually ok to hand assemble for now, doesn’t need automation to hit meaningful production. We will have more automation on blades, there are hundreds of blades per engine.

This seems like an extremely long process. How many can you build in a month at this rate?

This video looks way too AI-generated. No way anyone can pull something that heavy so effortlessly

A buddy has those exact steps as boarding steps at the marina. Wild the things you notice. Turbine looks great too!

This should be a foreign matter exclusion zone. no jewelry or watches, no badges, taped pockets, no untethered tools...

Love how they designed this whole thing but the steps were clearly an afterthought.

Are these for the data center turbines or the actual jets? Or are they interchangeable?

No hard hats. Step stool is off balance. Dude with the Hawaiian shirt has no gloves. No safety glasses. I guess you're hiring, it's just a matter of time lol.
