🚨UPDATE: A brewery in Wisconsin that repeatedly promoted “free beer” for the day President Trump dies says its Madison taproom is now on the verge of SHUTTING DOWN!!
Minocqua Brewing Company’s owner says the location “will likely close by the end of the year” as they continue to fight Wisconsin’s decision to revoke its alcohol permits.
State officials say the permit action stems from alleged violations involving beer transported into Wisconsin from Illinois without the required permits and tax payments.
They deny that and claim they are being targeted because of their political views!
And yes, this is the same brewery that promoted a “Free Beer Day” for when Trump dies and later posted “we almost got
#freebeerday” after the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
The owners are appealing the permit decision, so the revocation is not yet in effect.
