My husband鈥檚 uncle . John , killed in action . He was a navigator in a Halifax bomber. His plane was coming down and they made sure they didn鈥檛 hit a village in France . There is a memorial for their bravery there. These men were a different breed

This upset me, because this is how they must feel looking down on us Young men dying before they even had a chance to live Proud husband, fathers, son鈥檚 & brothers giving their lives to protect their families & their future Those that did this have no respect, care or compassion

This has made me cry. It's also quite spooky and haunting. They must all be turning in their grave.

My grandfather fought it eventually killed him. He lost 2 of his brothers. His father died in the First World War. Their sacrifice was for and because of the Political elite

Moving. My Grandad, an infantry Sargent, was captured in Singapore when it fell, he managed to escape the Japanese POW camp and returned to fight and he survived to the end. Sadly I only found that out a few years ago, some 40 years after his death from natural causes.

They were a different breed. And superior in every way to those that disrespected their memorial.

It makes you wonder what all those men who took part in the D-Day Landings would think of all this, what is it now, 82 years on? And all the men who gave their lives throughout WWII? Can you imagine? I can. They would be disappointed, to say the least. This is not freedom for the British people.
