Welcome to my Ted Talk Episode: What exactly does a Texas Railroad Commissioner do? Inspired by stupid and uninformed people on the internet. The job of Texas Railroad Commissioner DOES NOT monitor or fix Choo-Choo trains🚂 , nor do they fix or maintain railroad tracks ( you know you have seen those posts). It DOES NOT oversee roads/traffic, oil/gas leases or royalty payments, pipeline easements, noise, odors, WHITE NATIONALISM OR ISSUES OF IMMIGRATION, let alone any other HOT BED CULTURE WARS ISSUE outside of regulation of the oil/natural gas industry!!! The three-member Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC), is a state agency that primarily regulates the oil and natural gas industry, pipelines, natural gas utilities, and related energy/mining activities. Primary regulatory authority is over: 🛢️Oil and natural gas exploration, production, drilling permits, well operations, and plugging of inactive/orphaned wells. 🛢️Pipeline transporters and the natural gas/hazardous liquid pipeline industry (including safety). 🛢️Natural gas utilities (including rates for distribution to homes and businesses). 🛢️The LP-gas (propane) industry 🛢️Critical natural gas infrastructure (e.g., weatherization standards to help prevent outages). 🛢️Coal and uranium surface mining and reclamation. 🛢️Environmental protection related to these industries, public/community safety, prevention of waste of natural resources, and enforcement of rules (permits, fines, penalties). 🛢️The Commission also carries out certain federal responsibilities (e.g., under the Safe Drinking Water Act, Pipeline Safety Acts, and Surface Coal Mining Control and Reclamation Act). Concerns within the industry that Bo French has ZERO PLATFORM FOR and REFUSES TO ADDRESS: 🛢️ Orphaned and inactive wells: Texas has roughly 12,000+ orphan wells (no solvent operator) and about 160,000 inactive wells that can become orphans if companies go bankrupt or disappear. The inventory has kept growing even as the RRC plugs more wells each year. 🛢️ Produced water and injection capacity: The Permian Basin produces 20–25 million barrels of wastewater per day alongside oil and gas. Most of it is injected underground. Injection volumes have soared, contributing to overpressurization, induced seismicity, and blowouts through old or poorly plugged wells 🛢️ Flaring and methane: Texas operators have flared enormous volumes of associated gas for years. The RRC continues to grant long-term flaring exceptions even while stating a desire to reduce routine flaring. 🛢️ Safety, weatherization, and cybersecurity: After Winter Storm Uri, the RRC gained authority over weatherization of critical natural-gas infrastructure that supplies power plants. Enforcement and inspection remain important for grid reliability. Pipeline safety and oilfield theft are additional operational priorities. In September 2026 the commission publicly highlighted growing cyber threats to energy infrastructure (including incidents involving tankers bound for Texas) and urged operators to strengthen defenses. 🛢️ Regulatory process and capacity: The agency faces pressure to modernize permitting and data systems, improve consistency of inspections, and manage a large workload with limited staff relative to the scale of Texas production. Lawmakers have also criticized recent changes that limited public comment at commission meetings. Funding for plugging and inspections is a recurring legislative issue. Dunn is repeatedly described as Texas’s most effective (and often most FEARED) individual political donor. Disclosed giving to Texas candidates and PACs since 2000 runs in the tens of millions—figures commonly cited in the $25–34 million range, with heavy concentration in recent cycles. He and fellow West Texas oil billionaire Farris Wilks have been the dominant funders of a cluster of groups that score legislators, run attack ads, and bankroll primary challenges against Republicans they view as TOO MODERATE (RINOS). Key vehicles have included: 💰Empower Texans (founded 2006) and its successor TEXAS SCORECARD / Texans for Fiscal Responsibility 💰Defend Texas Liberty PAC (later restructured after controversy involving a 7 hour LOVEFEST with Nick Fuentes) 💰Texans United for a Conservative Majority 💰Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF), where he has long served on the board and helped launch Right on Crime criminal-justice work His groups have poured money into races for the Texas House and Senate, lieutenant governor, attorney general, and Railroad Commission. Dunn has not publicly denied the account. 🌟 Dunn funded challenges to Republican incumbents (especially House members) who vote “wrong” on vouchers, Paxton, taxes, or social issues. 🌟 Years of financial and political rescue for Ken Paxton through securities-fraud charges and the 2023 impeachment, including large loans/donations to Dan Patrick as the Senate trial presided. (Patrick WAS BOUGHT) 🌟 Support for candidates later engulfed in scandal (e.g., Bryan Slaton, expelled after an inappropriate relationship with a young aide) Tim Dunn is the George Soros of the EXTREME RIGHT Republican Party.

Invoking God? WOW, Bo Bo must have had a new one torn into him. Bo French touts himself as a Texas oil man. Oddly, NONE of “French Oil” wells are in Texas, but are all located in OKLAHOMA. Bo is a sham and does not believe in Texas abundance and greatness; he resolves to believe in the ABUNDANT LAKES of Oklahoma oil. Bo himself, will never be required to abide by any of the Texas regulations or permitting he plans to implement; nor will he have to worry about policing of his own wells. The efficient version is: produce where the rock is, staff the company where the industry and tax-on-people are cheapest. Oklahoma has the well. Texas has the office ecosystem and no income tax on the people sitting in that office. Bo French does not believe in the Texas Oil and Gas Industry‼️
