WARNING: Most Monero users are still leaking data⚡️ Here is what you should know before buying/selling Monero! Monero fixes the privacy Bitcoin lacks. But it only works if you use it right. Some of the most important Monero privacy hygiene basics: 1) Use subaddresses - not one single address for every incoming payment. 2) Don’t KYC with entities that know your XMR addresses (i.e. exchanges) 3) Don’t buy/sell XMR through providers that may collect your data These are simple things that make a massive difference. Unstoppable handles most of this under the hood: → automatic address rotation → no KYC-ed features inside the app → privacy respecting swaps When buying/selling Monero, you get the best of what’s currently possible: → most wallets leak your data directly to swap providers. Unstoppable doesn’t. → best provider/rate discovery for the swap pair. Unstoppable integrates more liquidity source than any other venue (including DEXes) out there. → visible freeze-risk scores per provider. The best rate is useless if you’re not actually private. Peace☮️ Be Unstoppable!

Bitget just took a ~$350M–$387.5M hit. Now OKX founder @star_okx and Bitget CEO @GracyBitget are publicly blaming @THORChain for helping move the stolen funds. The fight: can a “permissionless” DEX refuse known hacker wallets, or is that censorship? A thread 🧵👇 nitter.net/CoinStats/status/21033…
BREAKING: Top10 CEX @bitget was hacked for ~$351.6M!

The entire point of crypto is sovereignty. That is why it exists. And a financial system is only sovereign if it is permissionless and immutable. "And yet, any money is useless without the ability to trade it. This is why exchange, too, must become immutable. Without immutable exchange, Bitcoin’s promise will forever be handicapped." - Erik Voorhees Permissionless money needs a permissionless market. Currently there are precisely two permissionless cross-chain exchanges: @THORChain and @Maya_Protocol (currently offline). And yet despite permissionlessness being the sole raison d'etre of crypto, like clockwork TC is attacked for dutifully providing it. If you don’t believe in permissionless finance, why are you in crypto? So to all those criticizing THORChain, I ask you, is the existence of a permissionless cross-chain exchange desirable?

Honestly, I'm not even surprised anymore. Let's just add another 'WTF Canada' to the pile.
Every day someone wakes up in Canada and thinks: "what can we do to make sure that people know Canada is the most retarded nation on earth?".

Monero fixes this Instant payment Cash like qualities Fees under a penny no matter the size of transaction Void of scams from chargebacks Banks can’t lock you out Not just “another” Bitcoin It’s the most mature and fungible crypto after Bitcoin and Ethereum
I’m so fucking sick of giving away 3% of all our revenue just for processing a payment. Like how is that not disrupted yet? Most ecom brands run on around 15% net. So we are giving up over 16% of our potential pre transaction fee profits to these bastards. Someone please disrupt this. It’s as if credit card processing companies are 16% equity holders in all our businesses.

A Pennsylvania state senator is proposing new legal protections for people who buy digital video games. The proposed Protect Our Games Act would require publishers to give players at least 60 days’ notice before shutting down access to a game. Companies would then have to provide an option such as enabling offline play, allowing continued access through a patch, or offering a refund of at least 25% of the original purchase price.

Thorchain has the capability to displace billion dollar CEX providers, which is why they are being attacked relentlessly. $XMR knows a thing or two about that. I am adding $RUNE on all dips to pair with my core $XMR position. Privacy is always worth fighting for.

Let's be clear: This is nothing more than scapegoating a **permissionless DEX** for a CEX's own failure. The unhinged barrage of KOL smears and outright lies means nothing to THORChain. @THORChain is here to give our little ones a future. They are worth it. $RUNE (⌐■_■)

What a fucking lie, my fren? Please stop it! @THORChain Community is full of liars...
And just like that, in NO time, @THORChain POL breaks $500K! Flywheel in full effect - rapidly growing POL, earning insane fees, buying more POL. Every 3 days, top performing LPs get a TC POL boost, buying coins like $XRP, $TRX, $USDT, & of course $RUNE, and locking it all up!

$RUNE enters full price discovery mode. This is what happens when value becomes valuable. A return to $5 isn't crazy. After that.. ? Retest ATH of $20 post $XMR and $ZEC swaps. What a fun ride with a DEX exceptionally good at translating economic activity into the token.

Do note that @THORChain NOs are located all around the world without anyone knowing who they really are exactly. Every pseudonymous NOs put in huge capitals to run the network. When there is flaw in the network security, naturally it is their interest to pause the network and fix the security flaw, and THORChain doesn't point fingers on others who subsequently processing the stolen funds. @bitget @binance might have also benefited from processing those stolen funds back then. So now, tell me, is there a security flaw of the network right now that THORChain needs to fix? Whose security flaw in this hack incident? @bitget or THORChain? Why must THORChain pauses network, just because the CEX failed to secure their users funds?
If you think @THORChain is decentralized exchange, then it should act like it. While Thorchain is being attacked, then don’t stop the network and it breaks the point of decentralization. It means Thorchain has capacity of stopping the funds. It just simply wants to earn money.

🔥 $RUNE up ~18% THORChain just reworked how it splits network income. Swap fees now send 20% to protocol-owned liquidity. The RUNE burn drops from 5% to 1%. Every three days, that liquidity goes to the pool with the best fees relative to depth. Deeper pools mean better swap execution on larger trades. 24h trading volume is around $618 million. The full split is 59% nodes, 20% protocol liquidity, 10% TCY, 5% developer fund, 5% marketing, 1% burn. Node operators set these percentages by vote and can change them again. The lower burn means fewer tokens are permanently removed. Whether liquidity growth beats the old burn for $RUNE holders is still unproven. The CEX are really going to be pissed if @RujiraNetwork or @THORChain integrate @peerxyz. Currently most people got hooked on CEX because it was the easiest way to get from and to fiat. Plus once $ZEC and $XMR hit @THORChain they are going to lose their minds.

Maybe this calms you down: "This MR prepares a non-consensus-breaking v3.20.4 release for a full XMR soft launch, including deposits, swaps, liquidity provision and withdrawals." gitlab.com/thorchain/thornod… So this time, we are really close to launch monero:native on @THORChain
At this point I’m genuinely & instantly enraged when I see @THORChain mention any asset other than $XMR
