The government knew the water at Camp Lejeune Marine Base was poisoned – the same water that Richard drank – but they covered it up. Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward at the DOJ offered Richard $75,000 and even included a poison pill in the offer: if Richard doesn’t accept the DOJ’s offer and a judge awards him less at trial, he will have to pay the DOJ’s costs and attorney fees! That’s truly shocking. $75,000 is less than a sixth of what Richard lost by having to retire early, not to mention all the medical bills that have piled up for his treatment. I can’t believe this @ASGWoodward guy is actually employed by the DOJ! Get rid of him!! He is making the administration look like they couldn’t care less about our veterans.
