We have a perfect example in Arizona of what permanent standard time looks like we have an example from the 70s of what a disaster permanent daylight savings was.
President Trump called out Senate Republicans & specifically called out Tom Cotton as the man holding up the bipartisan bill to end as he said, the twice-a year clock change for good, most Americans support this, Cotton on the other hand, has dug his heels in even tho tens of millions support this bill.

Permanent DST is a mandate to wake an hour earlier than Standard Time, to start school/work in darkness all winter. It would put sunrise past 8am for 3+ months in most states, past 9am in 18 states.
Permanent Standard Time is the only safe clock!
