@CrusoeAI is an industry-defining company that spans energy, data centers, and cloud/inference. Each of these is an enormous undertaking, yet @ChaseLochmiller and team are successfully delivering on this promise to the world’s most important companies. My partner @ramtinnaimi bet early on the brilliance of Chase and Crusoe’s stellar team. We’re very proud investors, congrats to the team on the $3.9b Series F!
Crusoe has raised $3.9 billion in Series F, co-led by @Atreidesmgmt, @MubadalaCapital, and @valor Equity Partners. This capital will help us grow across our AI factories, from large-scale campuses to modular Crusoe Spark units, and continue to innovate with Crusoe Cloud. Congrats to team @watneyrobotics. They continue to define the frontier for robotics and have impressed us with the technical and commercial prowess at every step of the way
We’ve raised $80 million in Series A funding, co-led by the Valor Atreides AI Fund and Hummingbird Ventures, with continued participation from Conviction, Abstract, A*, and Grant Gordon. This brings our total raised to over $100 million. We started Watney by asking a simple question -- what can a robot enable in industries where the work remains valuable on an infinite horizon? We found an answer in the fundamental inputs to civilization: energy, matter, and intelligence. A robot will never be as charming as a barista or as personable as a housekeeper, but it can be more exacting than a surgeon. And, a breakthrough in one quickly becomes the capability of millions. We don’t imitate human motions or processes. We care about the new, differentiated capabilities robots can unlock. We work on problems where our choice of embodiment gives us an order of magnitude advantage, whether through precision, reliability, or scale. Compute is just beginning to transform society, but it’s constrained by execution. Since 2025, Watney has been serving the largest hyperscalers in the world, helping accelerate their compute rollout through an end-to-end deployment model. Across hundreds of thousands of hours in customer facilities, our systems have achieved more than four nines of reliability. They’ve enabled our customers to build data centers faster, at larger scales, and with more ambitious architectures. Today, we operate the largest fleet of dexterous robots running 24/7/365 across the United States. This is all to say, it's an exciting time at Watney. We’re all here because we want to see more ambition in the physical world. We are hiring across all domains. Join us.

Normies will never get access to frontier models again
Replying to @OpenAI
This model represents a step-function improvement on many benchmarks, and its training is ongoing. Our internal model group arrived at the Navier–Stokes solution in 88 hours, using around 10,000 coordinating AI agents. Throughout the effort, we maintained the strict safeguards—including monitoring and isolation—that we apply to all our frontier evaluations.

ZF is the greatest investor of our generation. It is so insane how many major companies have his fingerprints on them
The world needs far more software than it can build. Cognition exists to change that. We’ve just raised over $2B at a $48B valuation, led by a16z, Accel, Founders Fund, General Catalyst, and Avenir. Since our round in May, run-rate revenue has grown from $492 M to almost $900 M.

Excited for Deeptune and Mercor to join forces. Data is AI’s major bottlenecks, and both teams are trailblazers in the space: Mercor for its extensive expert network and Deeptune for their industry leading RL environments. They’ll go faster and further together Working with Tim and the Deeptune team has been a career highlight, congrats!

The XDOF team is a world-class team of researchers who deeply understand the problems their customers face. They are open-sourcing the largest teleop dataset and want to accelerate those in pursuit of general purpose robots. We're excited to be supporting them, congrats to the team!
Announcing @xdofai: We’ve raised $70 million to build the core robotic infrastructure ecosystem for robot foundation models. My cofounders Fred (@YideShentu), Nemo (@itsnemojin) and I have been pursuing the dream of general purpose robots for our entire lives. After work at Covariant, Meta and Tesla, it became clear to us that general purpose robots are coming, and we are building XDOF to help make them a reality. For the last two years, we’ve been working behind the scenes to support major labs and companies deploying robots. In us, they have a partner with full-stack expertise, from hardware to operations to policy training. As our first public contribution to the space, we are open-sourcing ABC-130K, the largest open source teleoperation dataset, in collaboration with our partners from UC Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon, MIT and Amazon FAR. Thank you to our customers, partners, collaborators and investors for your trust and conviction in us. Together, we can accelerate the future of robotics!

@GoToImpulse is on a mission to accelerate humanity's future beyond Earth. To get there, they are building the spacecraft that will advance the orbital economy, and need to test as fast as they build. Before Revel, standing up a new test stand took 1–3 weeks, first-time deployments could take up to 3 months, software changes required looping in a specialist, and the team was locked into a single DAQ ecosystem. Now, stands are up in days, sometimes even hours. Engineers self-serve on sequence changes, the program runs multiple test fires per day instead of one every other day, and with the ability to mix and match hardware across vendor ecosystems, the team saves over 100x on hardware alone. Today, Revel runs across hundreds of Impulse assets — engine stands, vacuum chambers, avionics test stands, facility monitoring, and more — creating a single codebase that can be maintained and deployed consistently at scale. Thanks to @lrocket, @_Eric_Romo, Dane Sarcone, Julia Vyborny, Trevor Hanken, and the rest of the Impulse Space team for the partnership. Read the full case study at revel.io/impulse

Let’s count the wins here 1. SpaceX gets a frontier coding lab, with the highest quantity and quality of coding data outside of Anthropic 2. Cursor is at $4b ARR and targeting 7.5b+ in EOY ARR. At $60b, that’s accretive to SpaceX’s EV/revenue multiple 3. One of Cursor’s only deficiencies was long term access to compute, which they now secure. Who knows what they’ll cook 4. Cursor was the largest customer of several inference neoclouds, meaning SpaceX slows down or handicaps competitors in the process 5. SpaceX gets Cursor level AI talent with a meaningful lockup, at a time when they face huge attrition in xAI Win x 5
SpaceX has exercised the option to acquire @cursor_ai in an all-stock transaction with the goal of building the world’s most useful AI models. For the past few months, SpaceXAI has been jointly training a model with Cursor, which will be released in Cursor and Grok Build soon. We look forward to working closely with the Cursor team to advance our frontier AI capabilities

Hard to overemphasize how good of a deal this is for SpaceX. People laud Sam Altman as the deal king, but Elon is a wizard for this. Very rarely does a deal make this much sense strategically AND financially (due to SpaceX’s high stock price). And it’s uniquely enabled by Elon’s aggressive decision to build a frontier lab and eventually Colossus 1+2 at a time when that was non obvious, and people thought the game was over
