One day the last boomer will finally log off Facebook, stop yelling at a cashier, release their death grip on a 1972 mortgage, and the rest of us will gather in the street holding hands like we just defeated a supervillain. From somewhere in the distance we’ll hear: back in my day, work harder, pull yourself up by the bootstraps, I’m not my grandchildren’s babysitter….then the wind will carry the voices away. Then we rebuild.

Imagine reading this boomslop
Boomers just can't win. All the world's problems are apparently our fault. First, Millenials and Gen Z are pissed because some Boomers are still working. They think Boomers are taking "their" jobs. Doubtful. The oldest Boomers are 80 yrs old/the youngest 62. They're mad because we are keeping our homes. We can't afford to sell them and buy more expensive homes. Many of us are aging in place and will sell when it's time to move to a care facility and we will need to money to pay for it...Unless you plan on taking care of your parents, and I sincerely doubt that will happen. They're mad because we aren't dying off fast enough. We will. Sorry you're in a hurry. Now, they're mad because we are collecting Social Security and the program will run out of money. Hey, it will affect us far more than you. You've got years in front of you to save but we're here in the thick of it. Some people never had huge paychecks while working and now just live on their social security. Millions of seniors will be homeless and without healthcare if that happens.

The problem is the dumbass amerishart lolbert system had to sell the SS system as “universal” otherwise they would have not passed it if it was means tested because someone would have gotten something if they didnt “work hard enough”, which in 100 years resulted in boomers with 20m in four ouh goy kay getting 2 grand and free hc from working people
If you think Social Security is a scam, you likely have parents who are financially secure. If your parents rely on Social Security, you’re probably very grateful for it. 75% of seniors on SS rely on it for half or all of their income. There are even children getting benefits as well as disabled individuals. It’s a very important program that needs to be adjusted, but still provided.

Of course, that’s your contention. You’re a first-year machine-learning engineer. You just got finished readin' Attention Is All You Need, probably watched a Karpathy video too. So now you’re convinced everything is just transformers and scaling laws. That's gonna last until next month when you discover convolution, and then you're gonna be talkin' about inductive biases and locality and how CNNs were actually incredibly compute-efficient for vision. Then you're gonna read the FlashAttention paper, and suddenly everything's about IO complexity and SRAM and how FLOPs don't matter because the whole goddamn thing is memory-bandwidth bound. That'll last until somebody shows you an MoE model, and then you're gonna be in here regurgitating DeepSeek, talkin' about expert parallelism and active parameters and how dense models are economically obsolete. Then six months from now you'll write one shitty Triton kernel, look at an Nsight trace for the first time, and start telling everybody Python isn't actually the bottleneck because the GPU is asynchronous. And by next year you're gonna be standing right here explaining to me that your 400-billion-parameter model is fast because you turned on CUDA graphs.
Ben Affleck reveals he writes Python, understands convolutional neural networks, worked extensively with GPUs, and used his celebrity status to get private looks at Google and OpenAI’s video models “I’ve always been kind of into computers since I was young. Then, when film started to move from analog film to digital, I became more interested in that aspect of it. The visual-effects workflow for many years has included machine learning, so I can write pretty shitty Python scripts and stuff like that. “With convolutional neural networks, which were the precursors to what the transformer can do, which is much more computation simultaneously, you would do things like look at what’s called a tensor. That’s the numerical translation of a visual image in numbers, like the batch number, the frame number and the red, green and blue values of each pixel in each frame. It’s just that simple. That numeric is called a tensor. “You’d use a convolutional neural network to identify patterns that reveal what’s called edge detection or feature extraction, which is identifying patterns well enough to know, this is where the window ledge is, so we can more easily take the green-screen image out and replace it with something. “That was familiar to me early on because, prior to Artists Equity, I had a small visual-effects company. I’ve worked with GPUs a lot too. The visual-effects guys said, ‘Hey, you should see. There are a couple: Google and this other company, OpenAI, are doing really interesting stuff with transformers in video.’ “I’ve learned that I can actually just call up and go, ‘Hey, it’s Ben Affleck. Can I come see what you’re doing?’ Sometimes people say yes, to my astonishment.”

I'm one of those boomers. Go Fuck Yourself. I'm 76, I worked since I was able to understand money. At 11 I had a paper route. At 14 I received my first cash payment after, I paid into SS and the take all government. I've paid into SS until 1983 when I got a got a semi government job, just before, Regan and Moynihan, changed the system. I had earned my 40 quarters. But because of that duo, my SS when I retired was cut 66 percent due to the Windfall Elimination and Pension Offset bills that were not repealed until 2025. If these crybabies today had a real education or skill, they would not be in trouble today. If our jobs were not sent overseas and 60 million illegals allowed to come here over the last 30 years, they would be ok. So don't blame Boomers because politicians sold out our country.

I researched the background of Claviculars latest viral clip “Clavicular catches a cortisol spike once he learns that the average woman has been with a guy with a penis 2 SD over the mean”, which is of course BS. However it did open my mind to the fact that there is a peer reviewed study of penis length. Apparently the mean penis erect length is 13cm and showers are the majority. Americans tf, I thought you were all supposed to be hung lmao? turns out you are just showers who gain like 3cm erect, talk about false advertising. No wonder the ginger foid wasn’t satisfied. Generational aura loss. Go vote for Vivek.

The Boomers really don’t understand what’s coming. Maybe it’s because they can’t bring themselves to understand that they are in fact mortals and will eventually die. But They will not be able to vote themselves the treasury forever, and successive generations are so bitter towards them this should be the least of their political concerns. The younger generations are going to get their pound of flesh, and no one is going to be able to temper it. Boomer beware.

we need to build a honeypot for strivers, fake prestige, 0% acceptance rate, infinite application rounds, a 40 page essay, 7 interviews, a take- home that takes 3 months, and the final round is just another application, trick is seeding it with a few real prestige ppl as alumni, one famous researcher, one founder, one random anon with insane aura, they vouch for it and never explain anything, then a small inner circle quietly accepts ppl who are already legit, so the alumni list looks insane and the verifier looks real, strivers see the names, assume its the ultimate signal, and grind it forever, decoy verifier with a hand -curated leaderboard, let them goodhart against pure noise forever
