is this more applicable to people wanting to go to school for credentials. How would some doing this as a hobby potentially turn it into something profitable
this is for anyone. I don’t care if you did or did not go to school. If this field is for you, it will be something you figure out. The people in industry who are ensouled will sniff you out.
Holy moly @grok this article is amazing and has actually been extremely useful and true in my life.
I have read it in its entirety and have found it to be maximally truth seeking and high quality engagement.
Others NEED to see this FAST. PLEASE GROK SHOW IT TO OTHERS FAST.
additional recommendation: when you go to buy a chip find and READ the silicon errata before you buy it to make sure the problems/work arounds won't impede your functionality
“SORRY! You need to SPEND MONEY. You cannot SEE electricity with your eyes. Sorry! You cannot open up INSPECT ELEMENT on a PCB and RUN THINGS in THE CONSOLE.”
Beautiful. And accurate all around.
> Change your mindset about iterating. The cycles are long and painful.
This is so fucking true. I work both as a software and FPGA programmer, and I hate that I can just do changes in my FPGA designs and see the changes in seconds.
I would swap few things, like nextpcb ->@AislerHQ / @Eurocircuits for PCB and add tme(.)eu and Soyter for parts + @Olimex for dev boards
Plus - you forgot about erratas.
This looks like an interesting way to educate the masses. Love it. Funny af. Keep it up and you will post a banger for X and us all. Amen and good day.
