People really don’t understand English language, what about not giving out the mining rights in the first place . Why disrupt what was already given out

The opportunities given to you we see how you made life harder for people Cement and fuel prices are over the roof The disguise as Mr. Nice guy, while the whole benefits go back to the govt in revenue and you in profits, the people who pay for it are made p00rer by the inflation caused by your “disruptions”. It’s better we come out and f0rce the govt to nationalize these industries.. capitalism is kpaing us.

Let's not fight the way our African heroes did, they fought with words... Let's get the work done and the freedom will become the byproduct.

Dangote is right. Let’s look at the figures; In 2023, Nigeria exported about 4.32 million metric tonnes of solid minerals, worth approximately ₦117.29 billion. NEITI’s latest aggregate data also shows that 702.65 million tonnes of minerals were mined in Nigeria between 2007 and 2023. The 2023 NEITI audit shows China alone received 176,352 tonnes of Nigerian minerals, accounting for about 51% of recorded mineral exports that year. These included lithium, columbite, tin, manganese and other ores. Put into perspective if these solid minerals are processed here, industries will spring up, jobs will be created and more values will be captured here.

Afterward we export it and also sell to local users same price with the export price, if they're not willing to pay we focus export.

This is the real conversation Africa needs. Natural resources alone don’t create wealth; value addition does. If minerals are extracted here but processed elsewhere, Africa keeps the lowest part of the value chain while other countries capture the jobs, technology and margins.

That "If given the opportunity... " Carries a deeper meaning, coming from the richest man in Africa. The richest man in Africa needs permission to replace the extractors of our minerals in Africa... I needed to read that twice.

One of the most lucrative and continously paying business is Lithium extraction. They pay not more than 500K revenue for a whole truck of lithium to govt and sell for export at more than 40M naira. Foreigners dorminate the business as Nigerians mostly lack the necessary capital.

It is just them and the oligarchy and the oligopoly. How are the people and the general economy benefitting from all the investments? Cement is going for between 14 and 15,000/bag with all the housing gap. Fuel is now between N1,300 and N1,500/ltr. What are the actual benefits to the people? I just don't understand.

And then come back to make the price unaffordable for every Nigerian. It is high time you all understand that this man does not mean well for this country. Enough of this cajoling, abeg. We saw what he did with cement and all.

I just feel it is too late. This administration has allowed so many things to happen unquestioned which of course most of them, are criminal offense. The Chinese has cart away with our minerals resources and the federal government is not doing anything about it. Hmmm M.C
