can't help but be impressed with how airwallex operates.
Pretty special to see our partnership with @McLarenF1 enter its next chapter. We've done a lot together over the past three seasons, and there's plenty more to come. 🏎️

Sydney Sweeney reveals in an interview that she doesn’t care about the PHP vulnerability because she moved everything to Rust in 2024. “They said the rewrite would take six months. We’re on month 30. We haven’t shipped a feature since, but I’m having a very normal Wednesday.”

This post is an emotional one to write. I started 20VC from a bedroom in London, as an 18-year-old, with no money and no contacts. Today, I sat down to record a very special show with @satyanadella, CEO of @Microsoft. It was 12 years in the making. 3,000 shows built up to this moment. There is no overnight success. Work hard, be kind, never give up. This is a moment I will remember forever.

The UK’s public sector debt has officially surpassed £3 trillion, on a provisional basis. It is striking how rapidly £2 trillion pounds has been added to the national debt. ONS: “Public sector net debt first exceeded £2 trillion in June 2020, during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, having first exceeded £1 trillion in February 2010 following the global financial crisis.”

I’ve been detained by the IDF, along with a group of rabbis & volunteers. We were simply harvesting olives in a grove near Nehalim in the West Bank. The occupation is a crime under international law. Harvesting olives isn’t a crime under any law I know.

Today in the UK, I saw how the Yorkshire Ambulance Service is using Copilot to cut down on administrative work and make better use of its data, and ultimately provide a better experience for medical personnel and patients. It's an early example of what's possible as NHS England expands Copilot to as many as 500,000 clinicians and support staff across the country.

The NCSC is encouraging UK organisations to prepare for immediate updating of systems using PHP. Where immediate remediation is not feasible, organisations should consider taking the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. For more⬇️ ncsc.gov.uk/news/critical-se…

when fighters are getting phone calls from bosses telling them, “If you keep wrestling like that, you’re going to get cut,” then you’re basically telling fighters how you want them to fight. At what point does that cross the line? Isn’t that influencing the competition? And if you want to release a fighter, fine. But don’t then publicly say he was “hard to deal with” or create some bullshit narrative about him that could damage his reputation and make other organizations think twice about signing him. Release fighters if you want. Just don’t try to damage their careers on the way out

If it wasn’t obvious already we’re in a completely new paradigm of cyber vulnerabilities. Product teams at Cloudflare, Mozilla, Chrome, Safari etc are doing incredible work keeping up - but wow we need more and better defensive cyber models to harden applications and the web yesterday. It is astonishing to read in the @thetimes today an Op-Ed from @parismarx saying AI hasn’t changed anything! Head in the sand is not a strategic option.
Following the discovery that eight eMudhra intermediate certificates use weak keys, Cloudflare is deploying mitigations and releasing client updates. We explain the impact, our response, and what customers and developers should do next. cfl.re/487DNbG

if this really delivers on energy security and importantly lower bills, then this will be good
Energy Secretary @Miatsf has agreed that the regulator can grant consent for gas to be produced at the licensed Jackdaw field. Gas from Jackdaw is expected to start reaching British homes and businesses as early as the end of this month.

Go Andy! 🫡
😳 HUGE bust-up on @GBNEWS last night! Nana Akua and Andy Twelves erupted into an extraordinary, childish row live on air after Andy criticised her presenting skills. It was pretty unedifying. Nana seemed genuinely taken aback and didn’t handle it well, while Andy was being deliberately antagonistic and belittling. She should have just kicked him off the show. Nana: “Can I just be very clear to you Andy, I’m hosting the show.” Andy immediately speaks over her: “I don’t think the viewer would’ve got that from your performance today with your pretty poor hosting skills. You lost control of your panel.” Nana: “Have you finished?” Andy: “No.” Nana: “What else have you got to say? Go on.” Andy: “You’re not an especially good host and you lost control of the panel. You started shouting at the panel. I think you’re just a poor host.” She asks if he’s finished and he says they shouldn’t be doing this on air because it’s unprofessional. She calls him extremely rude. It then goes back and forth like this for ages. Nana: “Have you finished?” Andy: “Nana, why are you keeping this going? This is silly. Come on, you’re meant to be the chair here. Let’s end this.” There’s then an awkward silence where they just stare at each other. Nana eventually says: “Don’t disrespect me Andy because I’m not gonna tolerate it, just to be very clear to you.” That sets them off again, going at each other like kids in a playground. Nana: “What you’re doing is extremely rude and I won’t tolerate it.” Andy: “This is unprofessional. We’re going in circles here. This is unprofessional.” Nana: “We are but I’m asking you to be respectful.” Andy: “Alright. Please, let’s move on. It’s not professional.” Nana: “Thank you very much Andy Twelves.” You think it’s over… then Andy keeps sniping: “This is unprofessional. Please.” Nana: “Have you finished?” Andy: “Have you finished? Come on Nana.” Nana: “Pathetic, childless and ridiculous!” Andy: “Childless? You mean childish?” Nana: “Childish, childish. Very clear.” Andy: “Very good. Move on. Very good.” Nana: “Let’s just move on.” Absolutely pathetic. She’s right that Andy was being very childish, but she should have got a grip of it. When he carried on being disrespectful, she should have just booted him off the show. She said multiple times she wouldn’t tolerate it, yet she kept engaging. They went back and forth like schoolchildren. Not a good look all round.

.@DarializaforNY Just because you let @ZohranKMamdani’s chief legal counsel Ramzi Kassem cum inside of you every night doesn’t make you fit for office. Your idea of a good time is having sex with a lawyer who represents islamic terrorists and wiping your dirty immigrant Jihadi hands all over the American flag by your own admission. Your boyfriend represented Al Qaeda terrorists and through your relationship, Islamic terrorists could very well have even more representation in Congress along with the representation your boyfriends’ boss @ZohranKMamdani already gives them. Not shocked to see you come to the defense of your fellow ghetto black bitch @AngieNixon. I’ll get a new bit when you stop being a walking, breathing cum dumpster for Al Qaeda’s lawyer.

Interesting conversation with Billionaire Daniel L
Jason Alexander says he feared visiting Palestine as a Jew until 10 Palestinians protected him during an Israeli army raid in Ramallah “How much of a risk would I be taking as an American Jew walking into Palestinian cities? And Mohammed said, ‘The greatest dishonor that could happen to a religious Muslim is to allow harm to come to an invited guest’” “And he said, ‘Jason, if they had to, they’ll take a bullet for you.’ And what was so interesting about that trip is, we were having lunch in Ramallah with a bunch of actors and artists at a sort of outdoor restaurant” “And the Israeli army was conducting a raid on a bank that they thought had terrorist ties a couple blocks away. And they must have, to announce themselves, just shot into the air. And I remember 10 of those guys at the table surrounding me. And I went, ‘Oh my God, he wasn’t kidding. They’re not going to let me get hurt’”
