We can’t do everything all at once. The country is broke. Scrapping inheritance tax costs helps one family in 20. So my first choice would be to raise the tax-free personal allowance. It means you wouldn’t pay a penny of income tax before that. And just so you know I’m serious, I’ve said I will resign if I don't deliver that workers’ tax cut in the first 100 days of a Reform government. I challenge my rivals to match that for their pledges. Raising the personal allowance is the start, but it won’t be enough by itself. Reform will deliver cheap energy, benefits fair for all, homes built, better public services, secure borders, proper defences, a break for business, chances for kids, and an end to woke nonsense. Serious parties don’t pick on pensioners because they’re easy targets, or promise a tax cut most families will never see. They look working families in the eye and saying: you’ve carried this country long enough. Reform are on your side.

Brexit didn’t fail. The political class refused to use it. We voted to take back control of our laws, borders, trade and regulation. Westminster got those powers, refused to use them, then blamed Brexit for its own failure. Now Burnham's answer is to hand powers back to Brussels.
