Look at the manipulative language on the voter ID ballot initiative. Keep in mind, 83% of Americans say they want voter ID. It is entirely uncontroversial. They are lying, claiming it will cost HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS for people to write 4 digits of their DL# on their ballot? LMAO "PROHIBITS CITIZENS FROM VOTING" is the top line. Just a complete inversion of reality. California is like some Orwellian experiment. How is this real?

The USA is now at cost parity with China! I break this down from the floor of the NYSE on Cheddar News. Great talk with Arnold Davick about the explosion of high end factories in the country, effects of tariffs, and automation as the base case. @ArnoldNYCTV @cheddar

I have worked in the tech sector for over thirty years and have encountered literally hundreds of people from the third world who are in the US working in tech on the H1B visa program. Many of them want to become citizens and many succeed, and then pull in their entire extended family through chain migration. I always try to remember to ask what they like about the United States. Without skipping a beat they all talk about the economic opportunities in the US. NONE talk about the freedom in the US. I have literally had zero third worlders who now live here talk about our freedoms. Meanwhile I have talked to Germans, Swedes, Austrians, Brits, Aussies ALL of whom mention that the freedoms that Americans have are unique. NONE of them have immediately brought up economics as the reason for being here. That's the problem with 3rd world migration.

For everyone who says 'voting doesn't matter':
Since USAID was dismantled in 2025, no left-wing candidate has won a presidential election in Central or South America.

My son is a network admin changing locations, backfilling his old position which they posted. Looking for an onsite CS grad. Can you guess what happened? Result > 900 resumes from India. They found their American applicant to fill the role, but a bunch of talented American IT dudes that they are...decided to run them through HR and AI software found nearly all of them were fake. Credentials didn't match colleges, colleges didn't offer degrees, 2 yr master's with no undergrad, etc. Meanwhile, we have Americans who must provide transcripts and background information repeatedly passed over for positions where H1B are hiring other H1-B. It's an illusion. It's largely all corruption. It's a chip on a poker table for our politicians to trade for international agreements.

Think it’s legal to have job ads and recruitment that boils down to “No American Need Apply”? Think again. @USEEOC is fighting back. EEOC just sued Sibitalent, alleging it refused to refer an American applicant for a California analyst job after a recruiter sent him an email marked “ONLY H-1B.” Title VII protects American workers from national origin discrimination. Guys, I hate to break it to you, but most political advisors are so bafflingly incompetent, it would make your head spin. All the talented communicators go work in Hollywood or at Saatchi and Saatchi, and these political bros never tap these agencies for help...I've connected several campaigns with literally the best marketing geniuses in the game, got them discounted rates, even...and they just never even bothered calling. It truly feels like a lot of consultants and candidates just want to lose. You ever wonder how my ads went so massively viral, but there's not been a single candidate who's come close to it? It's their dumbass advisors. I didn't go with any political advisors, and they were SO mad about it. I partnered with a filmmaker and marketing wizard, instead of political grifters. Why? Because I wanted our messaging to be effective. Political ads suck. Nobody watches them. I wanted people to want to watch my ads. The fact that nobody else understands this is...I honestly don't know how to explain it, other than they want to lose. There are a bunch of candidates who love it when their party loses power. It takes all the heat off them, because then they can't be expected to pass legislation when they're in the minority, plus they can fundraise way better off of the rage when the opposition is running roughshod over the country. Baffling to watch.

I feel about this the same way I felt when I watched the Artemis launch - and I can't exactly describe the feeling other than to say my entire adult life aviation got progressively worse - they retired the Space Shuttle, the SR-71, the Concord. And not because there was a newer, better, faster version, but because someone somewhere did some BS analysis on a spreadsheet and said 'not worth it.' And then, in the space of what 12 months... we send humans back around the moon, the farthest humans have ever gone, and we resurrect the this beast? We are so back.
NASA reached out to multiple former SR-71 Blackbird staffers in recent weeks to help restart the program and return to flight -Aviation Week

Good morning, go to your local gas station, check if they’re reselling great value (Walmart exclusive) food products. If they are, report them for fraud. 9 times out of ten they’re using food stamps to stock the shelves. They get 100% profit and you get to pay twice.

In 2005, Oneida shut the flatware factory in Sherrill, New York. A town that had made silverware for MORE THAN 100 YEARS was supposed to be finished. Two men refused to let that happen. Their names are Matt Roberts and Greg Owens. Roberts had managed that factory. Owens was another former Oneida manufacturing manager. When the company ended U.S. production, they bought the plant and the equipment and reopened it the NEXT DAY as Sherrill Manufacturing. They did not have a giant rescue fund. They did not have a Hollywood ending waiting. They had a building, some machines, and a workforce that knew how to make forks, knives, and spoons. At first they kept making product for Oneida. Then Oneida pulled the remaining American work and sent it overseas. That should have been the end. It wasn’t. They took government flatware contracts to keep the lights on. In 2010 they filed Chapter 11. They sold unused equipment. They sold space they could no longer fill. They leased back only the part of the factory they could still run. They came out of bankruptcy in 2013. Then they did the thing that saved the company. They built their own brand: Liberty Tabletop. They sold 18/10 stainless flatware straight to customers who wanted tableware MADE IN THE UNITED STATES. Not through a department store that could drop them overnight. Direct. Today Liberty Tabletop is the only company still manufacturing stainless steel flatware in America. Same town. Same trade. U.S. steel. About 70 jobs. They did not bring back 2,000 workers. Nobody did. What they saved was the last line. If you want American-made forks and spoons, this is the factory that still makes them. Support Liberty Tabletop. THIS is what keeping manufacturing in America actually looks like. 🇺🇸

Today, I met with the previous owner of my Viper to help him with his new Gen 3 Viper. He was quoted $800 to fix his A/C. The part alone would be $650. A few weeks ago, I stopped by and traced the same leak back to a Schrader valve. Today, I stopped by, and in 15 minutes, replaced the faulty valve. The valve cost $1. The total service cost was $40 I returned home to find my furnace not working. Of course, me being me, I plopped down next to it to start diagnosing the issue. I've never worked on a furnace before- no big deal, let's figure it out. First, I listened to it... high pitched buzzing... don't hear a fan. Then, I looked for anything to help me. I found a cover, then underneath, a flashing light. I looked around for any indicator of what that light meant... found it. It's flashing 12 and 33. I read those codes... heater is shutting down because of too much heat... air not venting. Maybe there's something blocking the filter? Remove filter, turn it off and back on. Nothing. Then, I stick my hand into the fan, let's spin it by hand... it's not frozen... and OUCH! the motor is hot! So I say to myself "if the motor is hot, not seized, the control board is putting out useful codes, power and gas are both operational... then it's probably the capacitor. Overnighted on Amazon? $10. To have an HVAC guy handle this for me? Probably $400. This post isn't about HVAC. You should have the natural curiosity and desire to figure things out. Not just because they're cool, but because being able to understand the systems you use is the difference between a broken part being an inconvenience or a bankruptcy. Competence starts with Curiosity. Be Curious.
