I moved to the UK 11 years ago.
Got a job. Bought a house, had a kid.
Followed the process as they'd say.
European cultures are similar to the UK. Didn't take long to get adopted. I like my footy and lager, that helps.
I respect the hand that feeds me.
But.
I do not know what's happening in this country at the minute.
Bringing in totally different cultures will not work. There's misunderstanding from both sides. Hate is escalating everywhere.
This is not about the color of anyone's skin, it's about cultures and habits.
The position adopted by the @ukhomeoffice is simply mental.
Them leaflets released about domestic violence or child abuse left me flabbergasted.
Don't we have enough problems as it is?
Why bringing anymore when we all know it's not going to work.
I just don't get it and for the first time in 11 years...
I'm concerned.

There are now 28 cars available with the largest discount being a car which was listed at £209k in May which is now down £25k to £185k and still not selling.
Predictably I foresee a flurry of cars being listed leading up to winter with a continued price 📉

Word of warning for anyone in the uk looking at using the shambles that is @ToastTab - we have a new small business (a bar in York) taking between £4/5k per day via a single (I know!) veriphone card reader . This evening it went down and after over an hour on the phone …

… they’re answer was simply that they couldn’t help me and that it would be at least 3 days for a new reader. 🤯 … their recommendation - take cash (which we’re not set up for). Now I know the cash thing will cause some debate but we run the business remotely …
