MUST WATCH. With all the gaslighting going on about Obama and his supposed transparency with the press, this is the a great reminder of the truth. 2013. CNN's Brian Stelter does a segment on the growing frustration of the press over not being given access to Obama. Stelter's panel discussed in detail how the Obama Admin was banning the free press from events. We are told that Obama was the most transparent President ever. The truth is pretty much the opposite. Everything was scripted and controlled, including much of the media's reporting on him. Trump has banned a couple new outlets. There's still regularly a large group of reporters in the room with him, yelling questions and taking photos. Obama on the other hand would regularly ban all press by just declaring standard events, meetings, and appearances to be "private." No press allowed. No questions. The White House would then afterwards give the media photos and "tidbits" to publish and report on. And the media went along with it for years. Straight propaganda. Obama banned press photographers and instead the White House would give the media photos to publish. Imagine the media's reaction if Trump did that. Think they would go along with it? 🤣 After years of fawning over Obama and being his lapdog, amazingly some in the media began to object. Strangely, Stelter didn't cry about fascism or accuse Obama of breaking the law. He did though talk about the wonderful dog photos that CNN was allowed to publish.
