After the Tories briefed they were going to abolish inheritance tax entirely, Andrew Griffith now says it’s unaffordable. What a mess.
The truth is nobody trusts Kemi Badenoch because she personally froze the inheritance tax thresholds.
Her decision cost grieving families billions of pounds.
It’s all just a repeat of George Osborne making desperate promises on inheritance tax he never kept.
Instead of a small tax cut for 1 in 20, Reform will raise the tax-free personal allowance to £15,000 for everyone in our first budget.
It’s a tax cut that will make work pay again.
We’re for the many, not the few.
