🔥 Tim Farron absolutely bang on here about refugees. Govt incompetence has caused demonisation, societal stress, vast costs & inefficiencies, while also removing any genuine deterrence.

How is it a deterrent to process them quicker? “Better not get in that dinghy, Sadiq, they’re efficient now”

No political back bone to deal with migration, now the truth is out there, OBR says only 12% of skilled migrants actually make a positive contribution to UK economy while the rest, plus their dependents cost £100000s to UK economy.

Tim Farron, another incompetent failure… Famous for blowing his election chances by talking about religion… I’d love for him to turn up at P.O.S to turn up at doorstep, just so I can rip him a new one.

when you have no real answers, it helps to confuse the issue using words like "refugees", instead of "illegals". If people like Farron used correct terminology, people would take them seriously

Naive nonsense as always Mike. 9 women can’t have a baby in 1 month. It doesn’t matter how much more is spent on ‘processing’ when NGOs, Charities, Lawyers and Civil Servants are gaming the system. The end game is that ‘90%’. That’s who wins. Not who was genuine.

I bet Mike and Tim both live quite comfortably and would willingly start housing the odd asylum seekers

France is also very much larger than the UK which is a small Island for all the do gooders that forget how small the UK actually is!

Absolute bollocks. if it were true, we'd be seeing a mixture of people. 95% are males, and what kind of males are they if they're fleeing leaving behind women and children?

You just want to be seen wearing the “good guy” white hat At least 117.3 million people around world have been forced to flee their homes & nearly 43.4 million around 40% of whom are under the age of 18 So you would support if they all have their right to choose & come to UK

Tim Farron is about as useful as a one legged man in a arse kicking contest

Partly agree with Tim but since we are not part of EU, we don't need to compare to France and Germany. True asylum seekers should be granted asylum at first safe country and are then free to apply to become admitted elsewhere. Barging in makes them illegal in my view.

Utter nonsense A genuine asylum seeker/refugee would not risk their lives (having reached & passed through safe countries) crossing on flimsy overcrowded boats and if as reported paying money to the people smugglers (how they have such money is a mystery)

Well that can be broken down. Why does that percentage still come here? What do they offer us? Yes they are illegal of they come via dingy. If you have nothing to offer you cant come in that is the best deterrent
