Sitting in the SLC Delta Lounge (the old one by the A gates), and it’s full of people who are perfectly put together, and looking like they have somewhere very important to be.
I sat down next to an older woman who looked much more casual and relaxed. As I was sitting there, I watched her quietly slip a $50 bill to one of the Sky Club employees who was sweeping the floor.
The woman gave her the biggest smile, and the woman next to me simply said, “Thanks for working and being here.”
I don’t know anything about either of them, but I thought it was such a cool little moment. No show, no expectation, just someone noticing another person’s work and wanting them to know it mattered.
Sometimes the most impressive people in the room aren’t the ones who look the part. ❤️
