He is a popular and unifying voice for the Palestinian people, and as we push to end Israel's atrocities, his release would help advance freedom and self-determination for Palestine. Unpopuläre Meinung: Das Ausmaß der Zerstörung sagt wenig darüber aus, ob ein Krieg gerechtfertigt ist. Schaut euch die Fotos von Berlin, Hamburg, Bremen, Dresden 1945 an. Wenn man akzeptiert, dass Hitler und die Deutschen dafür verantwortlich waren, gilt das ebenso für die Hamas.
Sie hat diesen Krieg mit dem Massaker vom 7. Oktober vom Zaun gebrochen und ihn willentlich in die Länge gezogen. Die Opfer unter der Zivilbevölkerung waren Teil ihres Kalküls, Israel auf die Anklagebank zu setzen und international zu isolieren. Dummerweise findet sie dafür reichlich Claqueure im Westen.
