The claim that non-citizens are voting in federal elections in large numbers is false – and Trump knows it. But now, because of the right-wing Supreme Court, many Americans, especially naturalized citizens, are at risk of being denied their right to vote over unreliable data. This is another Trump hoax to interfere with the right to vote. Make a plan to vote, and make sure you know your rights. We will not allow Trump's attempts to sow fear about our elections succeed.

As Trump’s imperialistic efforts to interfere in elections throughout Latin America continue, I led a letter with @repdeliaramirez, @RepJayapal and 28 other Members of Congress opposing the Administration’s coordinated effort to threaten our strategic alliance with Brazil and to undermine its upcoming presidential elections. Trump wants to undermine elections not only in the US but anywhere he can put his dirty hands on.

ICE shot and wounded a man, refused to give him medical treatment, and now they want to deport him to avoid accountability. Mr. Garces Perez must be immediately released to receive treatment. There must be justice for this crime and a thorough, independent investigation. We know that DHS cannot be trusted to investigate itself.
