As the facts emerge, I am demanding a full, independent investigation, immediate release of the body camera footage, and accountability for any ICE officer who broke the law.

I agree with @AOC here. Two things can be true at once: AI CEOs endanger our lives and freedoms with their unsafe frontier models, and they also endanger our retirement accounts and our entire economy with their irresponsible finances.
If we are in an AI bubble that bursts, we must not bail out the oligarchs who caused all of this in the first place.

As Trump tries to ban CNN from the White House, it would be a massive mistake to cave on the Paramount merger.
The last thing we need is another Trump-controlled media conglomerate abusing its power to stomp out competition.
This is a dangerous merger.
Paramount Skydance is in “advanced talks” with California Attorney General Rob Bonta to settle the 12-state antitrust suit that’s holding up its takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery.
A Paramount spokesperson declined to comment. A rep for Bonta’s office said, “Potential settlement talks are confidential. We cannot confirm or deny whether settlement talks are occurring or their alleged substance.”
