Think of oppression as a bird cage. If you look at one wire (one aspect of oppression) in isolation, you wonder why the bird cannot fly away. However when you look at the wires all together you see a network of systematically related barriers that confine the bird.

The future of #ArtificialIntelligence is not pre-determined. As a technology developed by human beings, its future depends on the choices we make. We therefore have the responsibility to guide, change and, when necessary, reject its applications. A reliable system that serves the human person is of greater value than one that is exceptionally powerful but whose consequences cannot be adequately foreseen or controlled.

Kano: the latest batch of ContiSX Phones has arrived at the airport for you! Within the next 24 hours, our logistics partner will deliver your devices. Our updated commitment is simple: we will deliver ContiSX devices anywhere in Nigeria and internationally within 14 days of ordering. Let me also use this opportunity to celebrate something remarkable happening in Nigeria. Our ContiSX packaging boxes are designed, structured, printed and produced by amazing makers in Osisioma, Aba and Obigbo, PHC! Yes, from the packaging design to the printing, finishing, IMEI identification and barcode integration, these makers are leading. At ContiSX, we focus on what we know best: electronics, firmware, software and blockchain engineering. Our great partners in Aba and PHC are leading packaging engineering and ergonomics. And now, something even more exciting! We are preparing to launch the ContiSX Watch, a blockchain-powered smartwatch that could be among the pioneering devices of its kind globally. My PhD research at Johns Hopkins University focused on developing microprocessor-based systems for monitoring physiological and neural signals, including ECG (heart), EEG (brain), EMG (muscles), etc. That research journey continues to inspire what we are building today. The ContiSX Watch integrates selected health-monitoring sensors alongside payment capabilities, intelligent assistance and productivity tools. Our ambition is to bring technology closer to humans, enabling people to remain connected to their health, finances and daily activities. As we say in the Igbo nation, "Ndụ ka ihe eji azụ ya" [Life is more important than whatever is needed to sustain it], we work as we live, but we should not lose our health in the process of making a living. Every family in Africa needs a Contisx device and please check us out contisx.com/phone . Notice: when our stock exchange begins operations, these devices will power our mission of “exchanging prosperity” for all. We are ENGINEERS. We build!

UEGCL, UETCL and UEDCL are all government entities and they know where electricity is generated, how it is transmitted and who consumes it then you go ahead to award UGX 10.5bn to a company to do it. UIPE would create the distribution masterplan at a third of the costs. Sad.
🇺🇬 𝐔𝐆𝐗𝟏𝟎.𝟓𝐁𝐍 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐀 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐍 𝐀𝐒 𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒 𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐄 Uganda has launched an 18-month, UGX10.5 billion study to digitally map its electricity distribution network. Yet, despite a 72% expansion in power lines since 2021, electricity distribution losses rose from 16.7% in 2024 to 18.1% in 2025. Will another planning investment translate into more reliable power? Uganda's election petitions are very funny. Now, the Election Commission(EC) is being ordered to pay a quarter of the legal fees of the petitioner and the defendant in a MP case. In other cases where there was gross incompetence by the EC there's no similar order.
UPDATE: The High Court has dismissed an election petition filed by Ivan Bwowe challenging the nomination and election of Nakawa West MP Joel Ssenyonyi. The court also ordered the Electoral Commission to pay a quarter of the legal costs incurred by both Bwowe and Ssenyonyi. #MonitorUpdates 📹: @abubakerlubowa

Well played.
JUST IN: The High Court has upheld Fredrick Ruhindi's election as MP for Nakawa East, declaring him validly elected. Court has quashed Waiswa Mufumbiro's electoral petition against Fredrick Ruhindi without costs. #NTVNews 📷 Abubaker Lubowa

Long overdue but the only issue Ugandans have is assimilation. They should stop living as a closed community and freely marry their sons and daughters. They should be advised to do so.
Uganda is looking forward to recognising its Indian community as an indigenous group in the Constitution, Parliament Speaker Jacob Marksons Oboth has said. He was speaking to Indian journalists on the sidelines of the 12th BRICS Parliamentary Forum in New Delhi, India. #OpenGovUg

To know how sinister these guys are, the court can order for a fresh election so that Hon . Ssenyonyi loses his position as Opposition Chief Whip and the new Opposition Chief Whip gets voted by the all Opposition and Independent MPs to feed into General Muhoozi's wishes. Sad.
UPDATE: The High Court in Kampala is expected to deliver its ruling in a case challenging the nomination and election of Nakawa West MP Joel Ssenyonyi. The petition was filed by former candidate Ivan Bwowe, who argues that the constituency is officially known as Nakawa Division West, rather than Nakawa West, the constituency under which Ssenyonyi was nominated and subsequently elected. #MonitorUpdates 📸: @abubakerlubowa

BREASTMILK She thought she was studying milk. What she uncovered was a conversation. In 2008, evolutionary anthropologist Katie Hinde was working in a primate research lab in California, analyzing breast milk from rhesus macaque mothers. She had hundreds of samples and thousands of data points. Everything looked ordinary—until one pattern refused to go away. Mothers raising sons produced milk richer in fat and protein. Mothers raising daughters produced a larger volume with different nutrient balances. It was consistent. Repeatable. And deeply uncomfortable for the scientific consensus. Colleagues suggested error. Noise. Statistical coincidence. But Katie trusted the data. And the data pointed to a radical idea. Milk is not just nutrition. It is information. For decades, biology treated breast milk as simple fuel. Calories in. Growth out. But if milk were only calories, why would it change depending on the sex of the baby? Katie kept digging. Across more than 250 mothers and over 700 sampling events, the story grew more complex. Younger, first-time mothers produced milk with fewer calories but significantly higher levels of cortisol—the stress hormone. The babies who drank it grew faster. They were also more alert, more cautious, more anxious. Milk wasn’t just building bodies. It was shaping behavior. Then came the discovery that changed everything. When a baby nurses, microscopic amounts of saliva flow back into the breast. That saliva carries biological signals about the infant’s immune system. If the baby is getting sick, the mother’s body detects it. Within hours, the milk changes. White blood cells surge. Macrophages multiply. Targeted antibodies appear. When the baby recovers, the milk returns to baseline. This was not coincidence. It was call and response. A biological dialogue refined over millions of years. Invisible—until someone thought to listen. As Katie reviewed existing research, she noticed something unsettling. There were twice as many scientific studies on erectile dysfunction as on breast milk composition. The first food every human consumes. The substance that shaped our species. Largely ignored. So she did something bold. She launched a blog with a deliberately provocative name: Mammals Suck Milk. It exploded. Over a million readers in its first year. Parents. Doctors. Scientists. People asking questions research had skipped. The discoveries kept coming. Milk changes by time of day. Foremilk differs from hindmilk. Human milk contains over 200 oligosaccharides babies can’t digest—because they exist to feed beneficial gut bacteria. Every mother’s milk is biologically unique. In 2017, Katie brought this work to a TED stage. In 2020, it reached a global audience through Netflix’s Babies. Today, at Arizona State University’s Comparative Lactation Lab, she continues reshaping how medicine understands infant development, neonatal care, formula design, and public health. The implications are staggering. Milk has been evolving for more than 200 million years—longer than dinosaurs walked the Earth. What we once dismissed as simple nourishment is one of the most sophisticated communication systems biology has ever produced. Katie Hinde didn’t just study milk. She revealed that nourishment is intelligence. A living, responsive system shaping who we become before we ever speak. All because one scientist refused to accept that half the story was “measurement error.” Sometimes the biggest revolutions begin by listening to what everyone else ignores.

Now, this is how a leader writes.
Nou pa gen okenn enterè ni pou nou vin domine pèp ayisyen an, ni pou nou mete men sou richès Ayiti. Nou se yon peyi modès k ap devlope. Sèl sa nou vle, se pou kat teknisyen avyasyon nou yo tounen lakay yo. Epi n ap bay gang yo yon leson, gang sa yo k ap fè pèp ayisyen an soufri, ki touye moun pèp la renmen yo, k ap anpeche l viv yon lavi nòmal, lib, san laperèz. Nou vin ann Ayiti pou nou goumen kont mechan yo. Men sa m ap mande nou: fè nou konfyans, lapriyè sèl vrè Bondye a, epi mande L pou L geri Ayiti. “Lè sa a si pèp ki pote non m lan lapriyè nan pye m, si yo soumèt devan mwen, si yo pran chache m ankò, si yo vire do bay vye peche yo t'ap fè yo, m'ap tande yo nan syèl kote m ye a, m'ap padonnen peche yo, m'ap fè peyi a kanpe ankò.” 2 Kwonik 7:14 Ede nou ede Ayiti. Epi lè misyon nou an fini, n ap tounen lakay nou. Petèt jenerasyon Ayisyen k ap vini yo ap sonje nou kòm zanmi ki te vin ede yon lè.

Billions of dollars have already been invested in EACOP and Uganda must deliver the oil. I see Ugandan oil being transported via EACOP to Tanga then shipped to Dangote Refinery Lamu then UNOC buys it back. Uganda must sell the 1st barrel of crude before 2028 else it's cooked.
With Dangonte putting up a new refinery which will start operating in the exact time frame as Uganda. This is a lot gambling but if it doesn't actually we are doomed

To replace his father President Museveni as Uganda's next President, General Muhoozi must humble himself and prove to Ugandans that he will be a better leader whether he likes it or not. This generation of Ugandans won't bet on optimism and campaign slogans.

Last night an AI agent performed brain surgery on a mouse. We gave it 19 gene therapy vectors in a spreadsheet, a mouse model of epilepsy, access to a motorize surgery rig with cameras and one goal: reduce seizures. It picked the drug. It picked the brain region. It derived the coordinates from three papers. Then it drove the stereotaxic arms into the brain and injected 250 nanolitres while watching the entry site through the rig camera for bleeding. A licensed vet gated every irreversible step and held a physical kill switch to stop the AI agent. Thread on what it decided, what it saw, and the moment it refused to let me override it. [Writing this on the spot out of excitement, but I've been 18hrs in front of my laptop coding and coordinating this, so keeping it brief and descriptive, more cohesive thoughts on this soon...]

By killing Gen Muhoozi, he would be able to take over Uganda which technically means Gen Muhoozi is the current President of Uganda. Poor Elweru. That's treason.
Private Elwelu was planning to kill the CDF @mkainerugaba. The militia he had recruited have said that in a briefing to them, he said he kills Gen Muhoozi he would be able to take over Uganda. Now he is hiding in the swamps of Teso

The state has the monopoly of violence. Elweru should have known that by now. If he runs into exile, many Ugandans in exile won't see him as one of their own. That's the problem of forgetting that situations can change.
