Yeah. There is a lot of customization you can do!
Depending on what you want, you don’t NEED to make a chiptune tracker. If you rewrite the MCU / FPGA configuration, you can get normal audio outputting of the speaker. Rather than just 4 tone sound chip audio.
Im so impressed, im using codex to prep FPGA and the ESP32 to do wireless and WiFi.
Love a good tinker set up.

まだ実験的に簡単なゲームしか作っていないけど、ボタンの少ない低スペックハードの制約内でやるのバチクソ楽しい。
今のところChromaticのカートリッジには書き込まず、パソコンに繋いでCodexで専用プラグインを使って作ったゲームを実機へストリーミングしてるだけ。
開発中にときどき実機でテストプレイするんだけど、Codexくんの気が早くて、速攻でストリーミング終了するんで、「3分ぐらい遊ばせて〜や」とか文句言ってます。AIと違ってﾎﾓｻﾋﾟｴﾝｽはそんなｻｸｻｸ確認できないねん🥺
DevDayのCodex Game Studio講演でも言ってたけど、ゲームってAIの能力を測るベンチマークとしては優れものみたいですね。それはよく分かる。総合的な能力が必要。
