People who drank more coffee had less body fat, less visceral fat, and more lean mass than less-frequent or non-drinkers. The biggest benefit was seen at 5 or more cups per day. And for men, every extra cup per day was associated with a ~10 ng/dL higher total testosterone. Higher coffee intake was also associated with better glucose and insulin regulation in men. This was an observational study, but mechanistic and experimental evidence actually supports coffee's benefits on metabolic and hormonal health. I'm willing to believe there's a real link here rather than draw a conclusion such as "coffee drinkers live healthier lives in general."

Great graphics. Crazy stats!!!
I want you to look at this chart and tell me what you see. 20 years. Seven diseases. Every single line is going up. Alzheimer's up 260%. Parkinson's up 150%. Fatty liver up 125%. Diabetes doubled. Obesity up 42%. Cancer up 16%. Heart disease went down then came right back up. Trillions of dollars. The most expensive healthcare system in human history. And not a single metabolic disease is improving. Something is causing all of them. The same something. And nobody is stopping it. 🧵

Coffee actually reduces the risk of anxiety disorders. People who drank up to 6 cups a day had a reduced risk of being diagnosed with it, probably due to: ➜ Improved mitochondrial function ➜ Enhanced dopamine transmission ➜ Reducing cortisol ➜ Antioxidant content Contrary to its acute effects in many.

6. ANXIETY - somewhat counterintuitive but coffee under 6 cups a day is consistently associated with a lower risk of developing anxiety disorders!

🚨 “WOW!” Joe Rogan Was Absolutely Mind-Blown By This iPhone/iPad Addiction Hack 🔥 His guest, Chase Hughes, dropped the ultimate parental (and personal) life hack: “I did it on my 2-year-old’s iPad… and nothing is addictive anymore. She won’t sit there and stare at it for more than 3 or 4 minutes anymore.” Joe’s reaction? A shocked “Whoaa!” The trick? A simple red color tint filter in your device’s Accessibility settings. It strips away the bright, colorful, dopamine-spiking visuals that keep us (and kids) glued to screens, while also cutting blue light for better sleep. One quick change. Massive difference in screen time and focus. Try it yourself: 1Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size → Color Filters 2Turn on Color Filters → Color Tint 3Slide Hue all the way to red + max Intensity Works on iPhone and iPad. You can even set a triple-click shortcut to toggle it instantly.

Elon Musk got rejected by Netscape. He walked into the lobby, was too shy to talk to anyone, and walked out. Never got the job. At his first company Zip2, the board demoted him. Twice. They refused to let him be CEO. He got fired from PayPal as CEO while flying to his own honeymoon. The board voted him out mid air. He almost died of malaria in 2000. Ten days in intensive care. Lost 45 pounds. A day from death. His first child died at 10 weeks old. His first rocket exploded. Falcon 1, flight one. Burned on the pad. His second rocket exploded. His third rocket exploded. The last of his money was nearly gone. Tesla nearly went bankrupt in 2008. The closest he ever came to a nervous breakdown. Both companies almost died on the same Christmas Eve. He was sued by investors. Mocked by the people who built cars before him. His childhood heroes, the astronauts who inspired him, testified against his company to Congress. The Cybertruck window shattered on live stage in front of the world. He overpaid for Twitter by his own admission and watched its value collapse. He was beaten unconscious as a child and thrown down a flight of stairs. He has said he goes to sleep alone and it kills him. He failed in public, over and over, for thirty years. He is the richest man in the history of the world. The difference was never the absence of failure. It was the refusal to stop after it.

We figured out that dad has a psych med induced neurological injury, and has been suffering from akathisia. It’s been 6 years since any psych medications. Last summer his symptoms started, after a flare up likely induced by mold (CIRS) and stress. It was complicated by pneumonia and associated sepsis a month later. It’s been horrible. Neurological injuries from psych meds are far more common than people know. I made this video to explain what they are and what akathisia is because they’re not talked about enough, they’re misdiagnosed, nearly impossible to treat, and hidden by the pharmaceutical industry. I don’t plan on making another update about my dad, it stresses my family out, and myself, and there’s nothing more to say about it until things get better. I will be jumping up and down about psych med injury awareness from now on as it’s impacted my health as well, and is devastating. Prayers are appreciated still.

Here's the recent study by Dr. Stu Phillips that I mention in the post - physoc.onlinelibrary.wiley.c… Worth a read!
You don't need to lift heavy weights to gain muscle. As long as volume and effort are high, and you train to fatigue, you can build muscle mass (hypertrophy) with lower weights. Dr. Stuart Phillips (@mackinprof) and colleagues recently showed that low-load (20–25 reps at ~30–40% 1RM) and high-load (8–12 reps at ~70–80% 1RM) resistance exercise led to similar gains in muscle hypertrophy and stimulation of myofibrillar protein synthesis in the upper and lower body over 10 weeks of training. Effort drives adaptations.

David Goggins dropped a truth bomb that will rewire how you see your entire life: Even billionaires pull him aside after talks and quietly admit: “I have everything money can buy… but I still feel like something’s missing.” His response is ice-cold and life-changing: “You’re missing the version of yourself that only shows up when you voluntarily walk through hell. The one you meet when you stop making excuses and start making yourself unbreakable.” In this electric 3:18 clip, Goggins lays it out plain and simple: Real peace isn’t bought. It’s forged. In the dark mornings. In the moments you want to quit but don’t. In the relentless decision to keep expanding your mind, body, and soul when everything screams stop. That’s where the emptiness ends. That’s where you stop living at 40% and finally step into 100%. That’s where you become the rare human who never has to ask, “Is this all there is?” No shortcuts. No hacks. Just you choosing to become the hardest, strongest, most alive version of yourself—every single day. Watch this clip. Let it hit you. Then go do the hard thing you’ve been avoiding. The version of you that’s waiting on the other side is worth it.

Magnesium is one of the most evidence-backed supplements for treating migraine. 400–600 mg per day of oral magnesium reduces migraine frequency and intensity vs placebo in randomized trials. Some studies find benefit only at the higher end (600 mg/day) while lower doses (250–360 mg) often fail to help. For acute attacks, IV magnesium can also be effective, particularly for migraines with aura. Magnesium stabilizes neuronal membranes (reducing brain hyper-excitability) and modulates cerebral vascular tone, two core processes in migraine biology. For routine supplementation, magnesium glycinate, citrate or taurate are preferred for bioavailability. Magnesium threonate gets attention for brain uptake, but it contains very little elemental magnesium and should not replace more bioavailable forms when your goal is correcting total magnesium status. Another evidence-based regimen for migraine prevention is combining magnesium with CoQ10 and riboflavin (B2), which reduced migraine days substantially in a 3-month trial. If GI upset is a problem, split the total into ~200 mg doses taken 1–3×/day. This keeps you in the 400–600 mg/day range shown to be effective while reducing loose stools.

The Smith-Mundt Act is trending on X, don’t let this momentum die We must Restore the Smith Mundt Act and call it The Charlie Kirk Act to end legalized mainstream media propaganda Mike Benz talks with Joe Rogan about what Barack Obama really did by repealing the Smith–Mundt Act ‌ 🚨 It’s SO MUCH BIGGER than just allowing use of propaganda on Americans, it allowed for: ‌ - Infiltrate and co-opt the universities - The unions - The media - The politicians - The judges ‌ It allowed ‌ - Foreign policy establishment can fund groups that effectively work with prosecutors domestically or that work at media, dual sort of dual use - To give them foreign grants to do media propaganda abroad but they operate here, or social media censorship to coerce foreign countries to pass foreign censorship laws that explicitly and are intended to attack US social media companies and in US peer-to-peer speech ‌ “1948, Congress recognized the Frankensteinian monster they were creating by authorizing a covert permanent department of dirty Tricks. And this is their phrase, not mine, to do this cloak and dagger to infiltrate and co-opt the universities, the unions, the media, the politicians, the judges, the whole swarm army. You know what I have been calling for a long time, the USAID Truman Show” ‌ “That are effectively a movie set being constructed by the US State Department and its sister influence orgs — The CIA” ‌ “So the Smith–Mundt Act was always designed to say, listen, you can do this dirty stuff abroad, but it can't come home. We have that protection, which lasted for 70 years and only, we only lost it a decade ago.” By BARACK OBAMA ‌ ALL THESE THINGS and more were to be allowed to be used OVERSEAS ONLY, the Smith–Mundt Act was created to ensure that ‌ But then Barack Obama got installed, he repealed the Smith–Mundt Act and now ALL THESE TOOLS were used against the American people and we paid for it all ‌ Every person in America needs to watch every second of this video. There would not be a single Democrat voter left. Obama was installed to start the takedown of America and use our own agencies against us ‌ You could also argue THIS is why we have so many activist judges
