This degree of obstruction on the part of @SylviaJonesMPP requires further investigation. What is the Min of Health hiding from Ontarians?
It is impossible to get answers from this government. As the Liberal critic for hospitals, I had the chance to ask @SylviaJonesMPP about the spending choices she is making, why we are seeing nursing and other jobs being cut and why hospitals still don’t have enough funding or operating beds to provide patients the care they need. This comes as hospitals across the province have had to borrow $70 million from banks just to keep operating. We deserve answers about how this government is managing our healthcare system. Instead, the Minister refused to answer the question. #onpoli

Every day, teachers (and education workers) spark curiosity, build confidence, and help students discover their potential 💫 Their impact extends far beyond the classroom, helping to brighten our collective future one student at a time. October 5th is #WorldTeachersDay, and we thank teachers for the countless ways they make a difference in classrooms and communities across Canada 🫶🏽

There are no blurred lines when it comes to consent. Yet it is still too often misunderstood, ignored or dismissed. There is no excuse for sexual violence. Women’s rights and choices must be protected. — via @UN_Women

Every girl, adolescent and woman has the right to be safe. No matter what she wears. No matter where she goes. No matter if she stays alert. Safe. Full stop. We cannot accept a world where violence is a risk girls are expected to navigate. It’s time to prevent violence, hold perpetrators accountable and end violence against girls and women.

October means something different to each of us. 🫶 Whether breast cancer is part of your story, a loved one's story, or a loss you carry, Breast Cancer Awareness Month can bring up a wide range of emotions. For some, it's hopeful, empowering, even a celebration. For others, it feels too pink, too heavy, or triggering. And for many of us, all of it exists side by side. However this month feels for you, you belong here. Join us as we support one another through every part of it. Ontario: when more than 1/2 of all the patients in the ER are admitted to hospital but there is no hospital bed to admit them to - I'm flagging to you we have a serious and ongoing problem. If you want to Protect Ontario - start here - because everyone is going to need the ER.

Hey Doug Ford, Given how bad you've been for the people of Ontario, do us all a favour and put a decent and fair deal with education workers on the table so students, parents, and educators can enjoy a successful year free of interruption and bullshit. Thanks, Ontario
