Ms. Macool is 100% correct.
People don’t want to hear this… It’s why so much of the relationship advice online today is slop. It caters to one side of the dynamic, validates every frustration, and makes people believe that love should be effortless as long as they find the “right person.” Here’s the truth: Real, lasting relationships require an enormous amount of tolerance. You have to accept that the person you love will disappoint you.
There will be pain.
There will be irritation.
There will be moments when you question each other, misunderstand each other, and struggle to find your way back to one another. That’s inevitable. The real question is: Are you willing to face the highs and lows together, even when the lows outnumber the highs? Because that’s the part nobody wants to talk about. Love is recognizing that the person standing beside you is just as flawed as you are. They have weaknesses, insecurities, doubts, and wounds of their own. Love is learning to see beyond the arguments and stop labeling their flaws as “narcissistic” or “abuse” to feel justified in leaving. It’s choosing understanding over pride, offering an apology even when you weren’t the only one at fault, and recognizing that being right isn’t always more important than making things right. You will never find someone who checks every box, meets every expectation, or gives you everything you think you need. At some point, you have to decide whether you love the person in front of you, not just the version of them you wish they could be. Because the beauty of love isn’t finding someone who never gives you a reason to struggle. It’s finding someone who is willing to struggle through life with you, and choosing, together, to keep building something worth protecting.

Hodierna veritas e Sacra Scriptura.
Good Morning, Please join me for a daily scripture break. Psalm 92:14: “They will still bear fruit in old age; they will stay fresh and green.” There are major decisions you don't really consider in your youth like what I would do after I retired. I just hadn't thought about it until I got older then I realized- there is no such thing as retirement in the Kingdom of God!  I will say it again; there is no such thing as retirement in the Kingdom of God.  Please give me a couple of minutes to present my rationale. Our culture begins at the beginning (with your first job). The government announces, “We are going to withhold this amount from your paycheck for your old age when you are retired." We didn’t give it a second thought because we were probably a teenager.  So we work 30, 40, or 50 years or longer with the idea in our head that when we retire we can do whatever we want, and many of you are still operating under this assumption.  Guess what?  God doesn’t see it that way.  God expects us to “bear fruit in old age”. Now, God doesn’t object to you having a hobby or traveling the world when you decide to indulge in some relaxation time for you and your family. But we all have a holy calling. The Holy Spirit has been prompting me about this for several days so this message is for someone out there.  We have discussed what a holy calling is, why it is important to who we were created to be, and understanding God’s Will/Intent for our lives.  All of that is true.  But the problem is Christians have allowed worldly thinking to infiltrate their Christian worldview.  God wastes nothing. (John 6:12) Have you ever considered how much experience and wisdom that remains stagnant in our country like seeds cached in a storage closet awaiting the planting season? One of the greatest needs I've personally observed is young people don't have anyone praying for them. We all desperately need prayer.  I recommend you keep a list of names of people you encounter for whom the Holy Spirit prompts you to pray; pull the list out during your prayer time.  You may not know all of the details of their lives but every “retired” person should have a prolific prayer life like no other.  Consider the tragic condition the world is in, we need to pray and we have more time to pray than Christians with young families. So if you can’t get out and about because of medical limitations, financial limitations or whatever the case may be; please remember the Kingdom of God requires us to faithfully pray for the Body of Christ and the evangelization of the world.  There is no such thing as retirement in the Kingdom of God. Moses began his ministry at 80 years old.(Exodus 7:7) Looking back in my youth, this is just something I never really considered because I just bought into the world’s rhetoric. Let’s review some foundational scriptures on old age and retirement. 1. Isaiah 46:4 - “Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.” One of the major challenges of aging is the world wants to dismiss you and put you out to pasture; it has moved on to another generation.  But God knows exactly where you are, what gifts/talents He bestowed upon you, your life experience, and what are the current needs of the Body of Christ. This verse proclaims God’s unmitigated commitment to the promises He made to you in your youth. He reaffirms His protection, supply, and care. For those who have lost spouses and dear loved ones this reassurance is priceless. For the young people who are following, you don’t have to dwell on these challenges but no one escapes aging.  So it's prudent to settle some questions you might have with the Lord. 2. Philippians 1:6 - “being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” God doesn’t abandon you when you age; He endures with us until the end. 3. II Corinthians 4:16 - “Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.” Have you ever noticed how old and withered a person appears after decades of abusing their bodies with riotous living?  Not true for a faithful Christian, as out of the heart springs the issues of life. (Proverbs 4:23 - "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”). We are also instructed "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Romans 12:2). So yes, everyone ages with time but God’s internal renewal continues to sustain us in our advanced years. 4. Ecclesiastes 3:13 - “That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God.” We don’t think about it often but there are many people who do not experience a sense of accomplishment for the hard work they expend in their designated professions.  Yet, for Christians this is another blessing from the Lord to enjoy the fruit of our past labor. 5. Psalm 71:18 - “ Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come.” Amen. 6. Titus 2:2-3 - “Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance. Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. In the 2nd Chapter of Titus, Paul is giving Titus specific codes of behavior/conduct for the members of the Body of Christ.  Everyone has an important role even the older members. God thinks of everything. 7. Proverbs 13:22 - “A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous.” If it is possible to leave an inheritance for future generations; it is a blessing to do so. 8. Psalm 37:25 - “I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.” Simply put, God doesn’t abandon His children of any generation. 9. Colossians 3:15 - “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” 10. Proverbs 16:31 - “Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained in the way of righteousness.” God promises to be with us until the end and then welcome us into eternity with Him. We are to celebrate the blessings God has bestowed throughout our lives and with a joyful and grateful heart worship Him always. Pray to the Holy Spirit to guide you where you should go and faithfully use your talents for the Kingdom of God until the end of your life.  Our nation needs prayer and its citizens to preserve its way of life. Humbly seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance on how you should pray.  Some may disagree with this post. Some may feel they have worked hard all of their lives and deserve a peaceful rest.  I would say, while God strongly advocates for rest in our lives; most of these proceeding verses clearly elucidate a Godly expectation of fulfilling your calling until death. Amen. Please take a moment and pray II Chronicles 7:14 for our nation and if possible in the morning and evening.  May God bless you. Peace and be prepared.

🇺🇸HEADS-UP PATRIOTS🇺🇸 The Democrat/Media Complex is sniffing around the Democracy Files and our exposing of the ongoing Color Revolution. I'm not talking about marginal podcasters--I'm talking about the head of the snake. They will attempt to do two things: 1. Discredit @DataRepublican, the patriots who have worked with her on this project, and all of us who have supported getting this plot out into the light of day. 2. Claim that the framing of those files as an ongoing Color Revolution is a lie, and in fact the ex-USAID/CIA/State/military people behind this are merely true patriots trying to prevent Trump from overthrowing "our democracy." Such a story will inevitably include a litany of "proof" that Donald Trump's genuine election integrity efforts are somehow actually a nefarious plot to disenfranchise lawful Democrat voters and steal "our democracy." The very words you will read and hear will be a part of the framing of Trump's "loss of legitimacy" that is essential to the plot's success. In other words, these stories that are about to come out from the premier Democrat/Media Complex outlet(s) are actually part of the plot itself, and serve as part of the "Narrative" component of color revolutions that I have written about. Be on the lookout for these nefarious propaganda pieces in the days ahead. As I have said repeatedly, the best way to counter this false narrative is to get everyone in your circle to listen for 4 minutes and 31 seconds to the very first drop DR put out on October 22. That tape alone starkly reveals the entire plot in the plotters' own words. Last point; never forget that these people will always do one thing that is their "tell": they will always accuse you of what they are actually up to themselves. As my wife's X tagline always says: "Peace and be prepared."

Please read the following. Cynicus Publius and his friend Data Republican are doing good work for the preservation of the Res Publica Americana. May they be more successful than Marcus Tullius Cicero was in preserving the Res Publica Romana.
If you are like me, you probably are wondering why Trump and the GOP members of Congress have been mostly silent over the uncovering of the Color Revolution plot. I have some theories. ~1,300 words, please read if so inclined. P.S., some of the hyperlinks have Easter eggs, have fun. (Don't worry, none of the links go to virus-ridden "Buy Ukrainian brides with crypto" sites.)

I agree with this post from Ms. Macool. Most of my friends and family members don't understand the discipline required in order to maintain health and fitness. I typically exercise thrice daily: 25 k on the stationary bike in the morning, an hour of weight lifting at lunchtime, and 8 k on the rowing machine or 6.5 k cardio walking in the evening. I also try to maintain a low carbohydrate diet and avoid processed foods that only add fat and contribute nothing to maintenance of muscle mass. And to all you Traditionalist Catholics out there in Terra Vaniloquentiae, if you're going to talk about the spiritual virtues of fasting and mortifying the body, then why so often do you look so out of shape and overweight? Fast by maintaining a diet low in carbs and high in protein, and mortify your body by sweating in the gym. Stop succumbing to the mortal sins of gluttony and sloth while you deride the mortal sins of pride, anger, lust, greed, and envy. Hypocrites! You never talk about what you're guilty of. And that includes all you obese priests and bishops, too!
The fitter you get, the more people you attract. Your dating pool gets bigger, but your pool of genuinely compatible mates gets smaller. Get fit, attract more people, but find fewer who share your lifestyle. It’s why fit people often struggle with dating and long-term relationships. Almost everyone likes the idea of being with someone who has a great body. Very few actually want to live that lifestyle. The things you hear: “Don’t you ever take a weekend off?” “Why are you waking up so early on a Sunday?” “You’re on vacation. Can’t you skip the gym for once?” “Why aren’t you drinking with everyone else?” “Can’t you just relax and enjoy yourself?” But that’s the thing. You don’t see training as punishment. You don’t see eating well as restriction. You don’t see discipline as missing out. It’s simply how you choose to live. While others spend their weekends partying, drinking, and recovering from hangovers, you’re still training, eating well, and protecting your sleep. And the more fit you get, your standards change. You start looking for someone who shares your same habits. Someone who doesn’t need alcohol to have fun. Someone who values their health as much as you value yours. Someone who understands that discipline doesn’t disappear just because it’s the weekend or you’re on vacation. Because the more committed you become to your lifestyle, the harder it is to find someone who genuinely fits into it.

I agree with Ms. Macool 100%.
I’ve met people who smoke a pack a day, never step foot in church, and swear like sailors but if you call them at 2 a.m., they’ll drop everything to help you, even if it means handing you their last ten dollars. Then I’ve met people who sit in the front row every Sunday, pray daily, and can quote Scripture with ease, yet the second they get home they’re tearing people down. “Did you see what she was wearing?” “Did you hear who got divorced?” They’re more interested in collecting other people’s business than actually helping anyone. And somehow they still look down on you for not going to church. Calling yourself a Christian doesn’t cover up a nasty heart. Being a good person isn’t about what you do in public. It’s how you treat people when no one’s watching. It’s whether you show up when someone actually needs you. It’s whether you can help without needing everyone to know you helped. It’s whether you can look at someone who lives differently than you and still treat them with basic kindness. So no, I stopped judging people by appearances a long time ago. I’d rather sit next to a smoker with a foul mouth and a good heart than a sweet-smelling person who treats others like shit behind their back.

Pope Pius XII ( when Popes were actually Catholic ) refuted the heretical liberal progressive ideology of former Pope Francis ( an unworthy successor ) and the current Pope Bob, Democrat from Chicago. @Pontifex do you understand that, Your Worthlessness? May cancer become a wakeup call to repentance.
This post is extremely relevant again in light of the Vatican's Amoris Laetitia meeting Leo XIV has yet to weigh in on: "Pope Pius XII destroys Amoris Laetitia and Francis’ False-Mercy Gospel" - novusordowatch.org/2017/05/p…

RE: The Midterms and National Survival The Democrat Party has been hijacked by an alliance of literal Communists and Islamic jihadists who now wear the mantle of Tip O’Neill and Sam Nunn like a skinsuit while espousing the most radical, anti-American agenda the USA has ever experienced. These are people who want the Constitution eviscerated, capitalism extinguished, Sharia law imposed and your very way of life destroyed. If they achieve power, the lawfare you saw in 2020 will be NOTHING by comparison. If you hold traditional conservative values and/or if you are a practicing Christian or a Jew, they want you destroyed—economically, politically, practically, reputationally and—if necessary—they want you in a Gulag or to pay with your life. This is not hyperbole, nor is this something that will happen overnight if we lose the midterms. However, if they win the midterms this will be for them a major step towards their ultimate goal of domination, a domination where the Bill of Rights has no meaning and all elections are pre-determined. I really don’t care how much you dislike RINOs or how upset you are that Trump did not fully fix your pet issue in less than two years or how irritated you get filling up your gas tank. If you sit out these upcoming midterms to “send a message,” all you are doing is participating in your own demise. If this is you, please wise up. This is NOT POLITICS AS USUAL. National survival is at stake in a way it never has been before.

While I don't hate LGBTQ people per se (but I do hate their Democrat advocates), Nobunaga's post is essentially correct. If homosexuals and lesbians want to live quietly in peace, then so be it. But when godless Democrats start forcing the sanctification of sodomite filth and the transgender mutiliation of children down our throats, then it's time to destroy the Democrat Party. Do you understand that, @DNC @TheDemocrats ? Factio Democratica delenda est! And in other countries, it's their equivalent to our American Democrats who are doing this: liberal progressive leftists. The irony is that they embrace Muslims who are notoriously intolerant of and murderous towards LGBTQ people. Maybe Islam is God's way of punishing them.

Cynicus Publius' essay on the pending execution of Nidal Hasan and the death penalty in general merits the reader's careful consideration. I agree with Cynicus that Nidal Hasan, a traitorous militant murderer, should be put to death. But in general, Cynicus opposes the death penalty and gives good reasons. While I disagree with two of Cynicus' three reasons, I respect Cynicus and urge the reader to consider what he writes because he is using reason and logic, not sentimentality disguised as social justice, dismissiveness disguised as charity, and permissiveness disguised as mercy and understanding. NOTE: the text below is my personal opinion and the reader is free to agree with Cynicus and disagree with me. I've been wrong before (as my Filipina wife constantly reminds me) and I'll be wrong again. 1. Abortion: Deliberate murder of a pre-born baby is an entirely different thing than delivering justice to a convicted murder. The Hebrew word mistranslated as "kill" in the Commandment saying, "Thou shalt not kill" actually means "murder" and does not include capital punishment. Case in point: Leviticus 24:17. Thus, I respectfully disagree with Cynicus here. One may be pro-life and still uphold the Scriptural permission in Genesis 9:6 and Romans 13:3-4 for the State to dispense a murderer to Jesus Christ for final judgment. 2. Wrongful Conviction: Here I agree completely with Cynicus. God forbid that a wrongfully convicted person is ever executed. I could accept the abolition of the death penalty on this ground. This is a valid consideration and Cynicus bases this on his experience as a lawyer in the American "justice" system. 3. State Authority: In Genesis 9:6 and in Romans 13:3-4, God gave the State the authority to mete out execution for murder and to wield the sword. Thus, I respectfully disagree with Cynicus here. But point number 2 above applies. Another 4th point on which I do agree with Cynicus is when he advocated something like solitary confinement and a diet of rat meat for convicted murderers (to which I would add rapists and pedophiles). Cynicus' idea leaves the criminal to iustitia divina and has great merit. It is something that I could accept in lieu of capital punishment. All in all, Cynicus wrote a very thoughtful essay which everyone who has at least two living brain cells should consider. I for one appreciate such challenges to my way of thinking, but the worthless sentimentality and false mercy of the godless liberal progressive Democrats in opposing the death penalty is utterly contemptible.

Cynicus Publius is correct. Talarico is utterly evil and contemptible, but let's not stoop to his level of depravity in order to defeat him. Rather, let's defeat him with the truth. He is a baby-murdering, sodomy-sanctifying, transgender child mutilating politician. Period.
I had a post up earlier celebrating the breaking news of Talarico's nut house tour. Then later I listened to the fake phone call where the information was obtained through deception and. . . well. . . it made me feel dirty. So I deleted my post. Look, I think Talarico is an evil fiend of immense proportions who has no business being anywhere near the seat of government. But we should not be pursuing potential criminal HIPAA violations to take him out. It reminded me too much of when Dan Lamothe of the Washington Post encouraged some federal employee to commit a criminal violation of the Privacy Ac t of 1974 in revealing the Personally Identifiable Information of Kurt Schlichter, Rob Maness and me so he could write a scurrilous hitpiece against us full of smears, half-truths and false innuendo. I felt violated when that happened. Deeply violated. I would be a hypocrite if I then celebrated something similar being done to Talarico. Let's defeat Talafreako fair and square. He has enough freakish, perverse, evil baggage for the Texas voters to send him home without our side potentially committing crimes. I know I'll get heat for this. I know people will say "It's past time for us playing by Marquess of Queensberry Rules while the Left plays dirty." I'm sorry, this one hit too close to home and I have to stand on principle.

More wisdom, caution, and advice. We must be different than the godless Democrats and never behave as they do.
I spend hours each day exposing the lies, deception and unethical practices of the Democrat/Media Complex. I call them "journovermin." I stand in the fire and get them so upset with my righteous critiques that they come at me in waves, including the Washington Post itself. I do more in that regard than most others I know, and at significant personal cost. For that, I get the applause of many conservatives. Yet when I express public discomfort because people on our side used a similarly dishonest tactic as the unethical practices of the Democrat/Media Complex, for a small yet committed minority of "conservative" followers this makes me a "traitor" and a "cuck." This is what is wrong with the conservative movement and why we never seem to achieve total success. Someone who is with you 90% of the time is on your side, and if you toss them aside because they disagree with you on the 10%, you are a self-mutilating imbecile. I know this sounds like it's about me, but it's not. It's about a tragic flaw in the modern conservative movement (one that is importantly not also a flaw of leftists, who do not fracture like this over stupid crap). For too many conservatives, the perfect is the enemy of the good, and such people are too pigheaded to realize how they harm themselves. As a group, we conservatives need to wise up. United we stand, divided we fall, and then we hand the whole thing over to literal Communists and jihadists. If I just described you, please wise up, for your own sake, and for the good of our nation.

While I favor public execution of Nidal Hasan, I think we all need to reconsider our positions in light of what Cynicus Publius writes below. Finally here is a man with common sense, military and legal expertise, and extensive experience in the global war against Islamic terrorism saying something valuable to which we should all give our attention. Sidenote: the execution bullets should be dipped in pig's blood in front of Nidal Hasan's eyes before the execution so that he knows that even by his own demonic religion, he is going straight to hell to burn for all eternity if he doesn't repent before the Lord Jesus Christ while he still has breath.
I know a lot of people I respect and admire disagree with what I wrote in the below article, but it's OK for patriots to disagree on some things while agreeing on the most important things. I have not gone soft here--my sole concern is to win the war that Islamic Jihad long ago declared on the United States of America. My position is based SOLELY on that concern, and nothing else. I could not care less about the feelings of the "Oh we're better than that" crowd. We are in a fight for the existence of our nation, our Constitution and Western Civilization. The gloves are off. My only concern is winning. The article is a quick read: 600 words. Please feel free to disagree in the comments, you won't hurt my feelings.

Something to think about.
Can a Christian support the idea of a public execution? Yes—there are serious arguments for it, provided we first assume the execution itself is just. Justifying death as a punishment and justifying an audience are two separate tasks. What do reason and faith say? I’ll use the thought Aristotle and Thomas Aquinas instrumentally. 1. Making consequences concrete. Aristotle argues that some people respond to fear of punishment who will not respond to appeals to nobility (Nicomachean Ethics, X.9). A defender of public execution could argue that witnessing the consequence makes a prohibition more real than merely knowing the penalty exists. That supplies a plausible rationale; it does not establish that public executions actually deter better than other punishments. 2. Publicly affirming the seriousness of the wrong. A grave crime injures both its immediate victims and the community’s order. Public punishment could express a common judgment: this person’s life mattered, and this violation demands a serious response. Within a historical Thomistic framework, punishment may aim at upholding justice and protecting others. Making that judgment publicly visible is a further argument we can build from those ends. 3. Making the state answer for what it does. This is, to me, the strongest argument specifically for publicity: if citizens authorize the state to take a life, they should have access to the reality of that act. Witnesses can scrutinize whether officials carry out the sentence as represented. Visibility also forces supporters to confront the human cost of their policy. This argument supports independent witnesses and public reporting more readily than an unrestricted crowd. 4. Placing vengeance under public reason. Aquinas reserves capital punishment to public authority acting for the common good. A solemn public proceeding could represent the community’s replacement of private retaliation with judgment governed by law. But public authority does not itself require public attendance—that additional step needs justification. 5. Educating the community’s passions. An Aristotelian defense could say the event should cultivate appropriate horror at grave wrongdoing, respect for justice, and awareness of consequences. Aquinas supplies a particularly relevant passage in II–II, q.108, a.3, reply 3: making punishment known alongside the offense can discourage imitation. Notice, though, that making punishment known is not necessarily making people watch it happen.

This post is 100% correct. The One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church is to be differentiated from the Institutional Katholyck Church of sentimentality disguised as charity and socialism disguised as social justice. @Pontifex like his predecessor is heterodox and heretical.
They keep insinuating that Leo XIV is really anti-Bergoglian deep down and is only waiting for the right moment to get rid of the old guard. This sort of narrative creation and maintenance is what keeps people attached to the counterfeit church and its false religion. Go back to 1979 and see how 'hopeful' people were about John Paul II. And then again for Benedict XVI. Sure, there are occasionally some cosmetic changes, but at the end of the day, it's always and only the same old Vatican II religion that gets gradually pushed to its logical conclusion.

An important analysis for all of us to read and digest. Islamismus delendus est!
I believe men and women are exactly equal in value. We are different, yet wholly complementary, and together we form a whole. Islam does not share this view, and treats women horrifically. I have therefore never understood why we have a cadre of young Leftist women eagerly embracing Islam as a political choice. It finally dawned on me how that is possible, and I wrote the below article. Less than 1,000 words. Please read if so inclined.

More truth from Cynicus Publius.
The usual suspects are wailing and gnashing their teeth because Pete Hegseth is publicly encouraging the troops to be proud of who and what they are as a member of the world's most elite military force, and those same usual suspects are wrongly bemoaning this as a breakdown in relations between U.S. civilians and the U.S. military. I have news for those usual suspects--the issue is not military members being proud or Pete Hegseth encouraging them to be proud. The issue is vast swathes of the civilian population (usually rich and white, and from effete population centers) not having skin in the game (either themselves or their family) while routinely sending off "the troops" to die on their behalf. During the GWOT, there was a meme that showed a picture of a white board in Ramadi that said: "America is not at war; the Marine Corps is at war. America is at the mall." This was a widespread feeling among many who served. Unfortunately, there is only one way this gets fixed: reinstitute the draft, for both men and women, with no exceptions like being in college or Daddy knows a Senator. In other words: (i) I agree with the effete, perfidious usual suspects that we have a problem, but the actual solution to that problem is something nobody wants. (ii) The problem is NOT Pete Hegseth encouraging our military to feel elite and have pride--that's a consequence of a system that segregates our population into military families and non-military families, and what Pete is doing is quite appropriately rallying the troops in a very, very necessary way in the face of a system that often feels broken and unfair. In an all volunteer force, PRIDE as a member of an ELITE military is not only preferential, it is required. Hegseth is doing the right thing, and ignorant PhDs are too ignorant to understand.

Today's wisdom by Magistra Doctor Cynicus Publius. Sadly, I have become the victim of empty words - flowery high falutin language having all the key words and tricky phrases - by a certain someone at my place of employment which we will call Neutrons 'R Us. While the subject matter is entirely technical and not religious, nevertheless, it is important to beware deceit and deception by means of obfuscation and continued objections masqueraded as a safety concern. How can you know if you're a victim of this? Well, if you address the concern, and then the person brings another separate objection with an inability to explain by direct reference to regulation, and then you address that and the person brings a third objection. Finally you can be pretty certain that the issue isn't really about safety but about recognition and ego and obstructionism. Oh yes, steps are taken to address the safety issue. I am a nuclear professional and I won't let that languish. But equally, I won't tolerate being bamboozled by fancy talk that says nothing. Similarly, as Magistra points out, the same is true in the religious or spiritual arena. If you can't keep it simple, sweetheart (the KISS principle), then chances are you don't know what you're talking about. My personal opinion. I speak for no government agency, company, NGO, or religious organization.
Good Morning, Please join me for a daily scripture break. Ephesians 5:6: "Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.” A well written thought is like a precise surgical instrument; it poignantly extracts the meaning of an idea or sentiment from the heart and imprints all that it embodies in the mind and conscience of the human sojourner.  Take heed to this verse because our world is chock full of deceivers.  They spew “empty words” of treachery, deceit and mischievous contempt: all calculated to misdirect its receiver.  “Empty words" are not without purpose but never filled with joy, hope, and love.  I would characterize “empty words” as words stacked like a house of cards with no foundation in truth, knowledge, understanding or wisdom.  II Timothy 3:16-17 says, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”  This is a great example of what “empty words” are not. So, how do we identify and circumnavigate these potholes of enmity?  Hebrews 4:12 guides us to this unescapable conclusion that  “...the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Empty words are dull, lifeless, and result in oppressive burdens of the heart. Let’s examine “empty words” a little closer.  Here are some characteristics of "empty words.” 1. Their purpose is to deceive. 2. They lack truth, understanding, wisdom and knowledge of good. 3. They portray a false narrative often through the use of flowery language thereby confusing the recipient of the underlying deception. 4, They engender mistrust, disloyalty, skepticism, immorality, and a heaping dose of obfuscation. 5. They never lead you to Jesus. 6. They are uttered by those who oppose the Lord. 7. They are often utilized to manipulate the receiver’s faithfulness to God against them for the benefit of the offender. The Bible frequently presents a good verses evil theme contained in many of its verses.  This scripture premise identifies the evil succinctly and the consequences awaiting the offenders. Please a take moment and review these foundational scriptures about the dangers of “empty words." Colossians 2:8 - "See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.” I Timothy 4:1 - "Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons,…” James 1:16 - "Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers.” James 4:4 - "You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” Matthew 12:34-37 - "You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” Be ever vigilant to keep a watch over the words you use and be an astute decipher of the “empty words” of the world. Have a blessed day. Peace and be prepared.
