An unambiguous case of consensual sex. The aftermath of the Cornell group sex episode is a peerless example of the hypocrisy of the feminist movement, which proclaims the oppressiveness of any remaining traces the chivalric code. Females deliberately drink themselves blotto in order to lower their sexual inhibitions, voluntarily participate in sex, and then, after the regrets set in, deny their agency and put exclusive responsibility for their drunken encounter on their male partner, on the grounds that they are helpless to take care of themselves. I've written about the campus rape myth in @CityJournal: city-journal.org/article/the… From my interview on @realDailyWire's Wired in Live with @cabot_phillips ⬇️

Ever since the Dear Colleague letter in 2011 and the crackdowns on Greek life after Duke Lacrosse, fraternities have been training chapter presidents on how to protect their chapters from these situations. The Chi Phi president (who is not one of the 7 accused men) messed up, and that is why this has happened, and why the chapter was banned from campus. The basic rule is to act like a bar or a casino — when people get too visibly sloppy and intoxicated, you kick them out of the house so that the chapter isn’t held responsible for what happens to them. Girls who get high or sloppy drunk at frat parties are perceived as a huge liability risk precisely because every frat has some dumbshit brothers like the guys at Cornell who see a human lawsuit tottering around in a miniskirt and think “free pussy.” The fraternity president’s job is to kick the idiot drunk girls out of the party before the idiot drunk brothers take them into a bedroom to make national news. And when a girl demonstrates that she presents this kind of risk, the protocol is to ban her from the house. But you can’t ban her from the house afterward your brothers have already run a train on her. The fraternity president at Cornell let the thing that subjected his chapter to liability happen, and then he banned the girl from the house afterward, which alienated her and pissed her off. She was sending flirty texts to the guys right up until the president banned her, and then she cut off her ties with them and went to the cops. They should have been trying to make her happy. After what happened, that girl should have been the queen of Chi Phi. She should have been given an open invitation to every party and unlimited ketamine. The guy who proposed the threesome should have had to marry her.
I think that the Cornell university fraternity president disinviting Lucy from the Halloween party triggered this series of events. Prior to that she felt both taken advantage of and responsible/embarrassed Both true. Being disinvited put a scarlet letter on her ie: this isn’t a mistake you should all wear - you’re just a slut who shouldn’t come around I honestly think if they’d let her go to that party and been welcoming and showed her support she would have moved on What she couldn’t do was allow herself to be branded as the gang bang slut barred from the frat house Huge mistake

Two of them were black, two were Hispanic, and one was Asian. Has no one seriously looked at this case?
If the Cornell 7 were immigrants, brown, or black guys you know all the rightoid chud freaks currently doing endless rape apologia would be sounding like the world's biggest feminists right now.
Community note
Several of the Cornell 7 accused have non-white or immigrant/international backgrounds, including Korean national Winston Lee and others with Hispanic/Portuguese surnames and family details. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cornell_7 koreatimes.co.kr/southkorea/soc… cornellseven.com cornellseven.com/winston-lee cornellseven.com/diego-sarabia cornellseven.com/gillio-lopes

One of the problems I think is that places like Planned Parenthood tell people that intoxicated people can’t consent. That impaired judgment means you can’t consent. But that isn’t the law anywhere. So people are set up to be disappointed with the law. open.substack.com/pub/bendre…

There's a small window in life when your parents are healthy, your children are little, and everyone is happy and together. It feels like it will last forever, it won’t. Cherish every moment of it.

Seriously! The JCGC used to be TWO MILES! Then 1-1/2. Now 1-1/4. Tired of races/goal posts being moved. Different surface, I know, but as Tesio stated: “The Thoroughbred exists because its selection has depended, not on experts, technicians or zoologists, but on a piece of wood: the winning post of the Epsom Derby. If you base your criteria on anything else, you will get something else, not the Thoroughbred.”

Constance Fisher killed her 3 children and was found not guilty by reason of insanity. She was released from the hospital 6 years later and would go on to kill 3 more of her own children.
Hope this clears things up for some of you.

I'm going to say this bluntly: if America's military cannot maintain significant operations against a lesser enemy like Iran for more than a few months, the people who have run that military for the past 20 years should be court martialed. Because they have failed us immensely.
Exclusive: Several U.S. military leaders have advised Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth that prolonging large-scale operations against Iran is unsustainable and risks weakening their ability to confront threats elsewhere, including the U.S. homeland. wapo.st/4qLHGM9

St. Thomas-Nashville: Pharmacy Tech #2 had her probation extended and was coached for needing extra supervision. The same day she drew potassium phosphate into syringes labeled as spinal anesthetic. Ascension pulled their internal DEI Vocare/ABIDE article, but Google still has the summary. The hospital says it wants a workforce that “mirrors the community.” Was Tech #2 part of this program? Moreover, why was she still compounding? Why was her probation extended?

Universities built their prestige and utility when 1% of the population got a higher degree, now they want 50% to get degrees and wonder why it's all trash. The SAT's degradation is just a symptom of this.

One of the free services which the Catholic Church provided to Christendom in modern times was to teach everyone at least basic Latin. Now they have stopped doing it, apparently in order to make the claim that no one understands the old Mass more credible.
BREAKING: Leo XIV says that with the Mass of the Ages - the Traditional Latin Mass - there was NOT a conscious participation of the faithful.

Almost 20 years ago, Robert Darnton, who was then head of the Harvard libraries, organized other university libraries to decline Google's request to digitize their books because they refused to guarantee public access in perpetuity. He was prescient.
Google Books is becoming a desert. Its regress is real: the knowledge we were assured was both safely stored and freely available, which led libraries and schools to get rid of their books, has retreated into the shadows. The internet of 2026 knows less than the internet of 2010.

Cofnas is effective in no small part because he is a manifestation of a very powerful ethnic cultural archetype that has been at the center of American comedy from before Woody Allen up through Larry David: the consternated Jewish man who is indifferent to social expectations and perplexed by the anger his rejection of the arguments being made before him engenders. I don’t know if this ethnic ‘type’ is as big a presence in British as American culture, but you get the sense that British blowhards like this journalist don’t recognize that they’re participating in a very specific comedic tableau and lacking that sense of irony are particularly ill suited for it.
Seen this before. When British media decide it’s important, or edgy, enough to platform a controversial speaker, but are either so scared it might go wrong, or so determined to be the person to slay the beast, they absolutely blow the interview.

The US decision to launch a trade war against Canada while it is in the midst of a foolish war with Iran, while China is laughing at its weakness, while the deficit is exploding and bond markets are calling BS... shows that the US government is not acting in US national interest.

This isn't a public relations fumble. It's an orientation failure. Due to the way technology elites orient their decisions now, they aren't trying to advance technology to improve our lives anymore (cars, appliances, electricity, airplanes, telephones, PCs, etc.). They orient towards dominance and control now. Services instead of ownership. Data strip mining instead of data ownership. Gig work instead of career. Instead of technologies that provide us with productive, independent lives, tech now delivers us circuses (gambling, porn, games, political theater, fake AI relationships) while stripping us of all independence.
Americans would rather have a nuclear power plant built in their community than a data center, this may be the worst corporate public-relations fumble of all time

This is exactly why it’s so important to be honest about racial differences. If we are not, decent people will see enormous disparities and think, “Wow. We must be a racist country.” These people deserve an answer. And the answer is largely racial differences in intelligence.
Why were only three blacks accepted this year into New York City’s competitive Stuyvesant High School? Because that is the number of blacks who passed the admissions test—a detail not even alluded to until the fifth paragraph of the New York Times story on this alleged scandal. Why did only three blacks (out of 777 admittees) pass the admissions test? Because, on average, blacks’ academic skills are so low. Nationally, the percentage of black 12th graders with advanced math skills is essentially zero on a national sample. Why continue to point out this doleful reality, which most well-meaning Americans would rather ignore? Because unless we understand that the low representation of blacks in meritocratic institutions, whether Stuyvesant High School or NASA, is due to the academic skills gap and not to systemic racism, we will continue to sabotage civilizational progress. (The next question: Why the persistent academic skills gap? This is the thorniest question of all.)
