Honestly, I’ve invested enough into $OPEN to wait it out and see what happens. If we succeed, I’ll be nicely compensated. If not, I died believing in something. $OPEN until the end. @nejatian destroy the haters.

LOWERING COSTS AND EXPANDING ACCESS TO HOMEOWNERSHIP: Today, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order to lower the costs of single-family homeownership and mortgages and promote innovation throughout the housing market. •The Order directs the Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) to create a pilot program to cancel borrowers’ mortgage insurance premiums proactively once they have satisfied their equity requirements based on the current market value, which will eliminate a large monthly expense for qualifying Americans across the country.   •The Order establishes the Task Force on Manufactured Housing Innovation to increase the quality of and lower the cost of building a home by facilitating the use of modern manufacturing methods in the production of factory-built housing eligible for federal housing programs. •The Order directs the FHFA Director to reduce homeowners’ refinancing costs by expanding the FHFA’s title insurance waiver pilot into a permanent program to allow more borrowers to utilize cost-friendly alternatives to title insurance and to reduce the closing costs of refinancing and monthly expenses associated with homeownership.  •The Order directs the Secretary of Agriculture and Secretary of Veterans Affairs to reduce interest rates on single-family home loans made by their respective Departments. RESTORING THE AMERICAN DREAM OF HOMEOWNERSHIP: President Trump is removing unnecessary red tape and making homeownership more affordable for all Americans. •Homeownership is a vital pillar of our great Nation, and President Trump and his Administration are working tirelessly to cut burdensome costs and red tape to make the American dream of homeownership more affordable for all Americans.  •Unnecessary regulations and outdated mortgage processes have made homeownership unaffordable and driven up closing costs.

Hey Austin, I don’t know you but we seem to have a few mutuals. Looks like you have a decent track record as an emerging investor and your background is incredible. First and foremost, thank you for your service and serving the USA. I’m Fahd, I work at Opendoor and joined with Kaz the day after he joined. I lead our product and design teams. I just want to clear two things up: 1. Kaz will probably always understate this but he was responsible for saving Shopify at least once. 2. Turn arounds, especially in public, present a lot of challenges that you have to work through piece by piece. Like untangling wired headphones while the car is going over a bumpy road and your kids are screaming in the back. These things take time, focus, and clarity. I’ve seen these a few times from the stands (Carvana, Robinhood, Snapchat, etc). It’s a little bit different when you’re flying the thing. We’ll have to let the rest play out and see where the chips fall. I will be on this mission through to the very end until we succeed or I will die trying. That’s all for now. All the best man.

🚀 DAY 1/30 — THE ELON × $OPEN CHALLENGE @elonmusk , remember what you said in 2021? “u can’t sell houses u don’t own.” Well, here’s an irony you might appreciate. Opendoor actually buys the houses it sells. Yet Wall Street has shorted over 213 MILLION shares of the company. And there’s more. Its co-founder and Chairman is @rabois — a fellow member of the legendary PayPal Mafia. Tesla challenged the traditional car dealership model. Opendoor is challenging the traditional home-selling process, with technology, AI and direct transactions. Think about it. Your battle against short sellers. Your PayPal roots. Your direct-to-consumer philosophy. Three connections. One company: $OPEN. Starting today, I’m launching a 30-day challenge. Every day, I’ll present one documented reason why I believe Opendoor deserves your attention. I’m not asking for blind faith. I’m bringing evidence. Elon, would you seriously consider investing in $OPEN? Let’s see if I can get your attention. 🚀

Opendoor is now the fifth most shorted stock in the US market. Fresh Nasdaq data: 230,482,512 shares short at the September 30 settlement, a record in its published table. 28.3% of the float, up from 213.9M two weeks ago and 164.6M in July. 7.5 days of average volume to cover. @nejatian hows this for some motivation? 💪🏼 $OPEN nasdaq.com/market-activity/s…

Bought more $OPEN at $2.26. I honestly think we’re about to see a new insane growth story on the scale of Nvidia or Tesla. Many OG investors who held $OPEN will end up extremely wealthy. For almost 20 years I’ve stared at stocks and graphs. I’ve seen countless rallies and crashes. Very few times have I seen anything like $OPEN. Maybe when I bought Tesla back in the day. Every time someone says, “Wish I bought X at X,” I say, “Well, 99% chance you would have sold X when it was at X.” Buying X at X takes skill. I don’t throw around complicated words and “fin talk.” I’m too old for that. I have no one to impress and nothing to prove. I analyze stocks and I am good at what I do, and I am long-term. I’m saying this plainly: you don’t often see a $2.2B market-cap AI software company with literally no competition, the best engineers in the world, the most AI-pilled company in the world, a top-ranked management team, a TAM so massive it’s bigger than almost anything and a runway that can keep this company profitable for 100 years. The amount of product they pushed in 2026 and the pace they’re recruiting talent is absolutely exceptional. People and critics look at the graph and say the company sucks. They don’t comprehend how much is going on backstage. Even Open’s executives are better engineers than most companies. Together with the old-school $OPEN investors here, in a year or two we’ll be known as the guys who picked the greatest stock of all time. Just because big money don’t want to buy the stock right now for various reasons like short term profit etc doesn’t mean we are wrong. If $OPEN doesn’t make it, I’ll be very surprised.
