The stories of people being unable to afford basic life needs are not new. I have seen many patients not come back to get medications including colleagues at work. I have been asked about prices of medications countless times, and you’d not hear back from clients. I have vividly been asked for money as little as 1K for food, you send 5K or more and you get paragraphs of thank-you notes. I have been struggling myself to meet up with my own needs and that of family. I have vividly seen hunger on people’s faces as close as family. Many parked their cars years ago long before a litre of petrol reached even a thousand, talkmore of its current price, 1500+ per Litre right? In summary, many have died from healthcare challenges, from poverty and hunger, from banditry, kidnapping and other issues related to insecurity, many have dropped out from school because tuition is unaffordable. We have been in mess for so many years but it has never been this bad the past 4 years, We have literally never experienced good governance, We have been taken for granted.
This is really sad wallahi. I’ve been reading tweets about this lady who died yesterday and who reportedly struggled with depression while she was alive, but this particular tweet really touched me mehn. Her medication had finished and she couldn’t afford to buy more. She reportedly tweeted about it saying “Tinubu must go.” Only God knows how many people have been pushed to the brink by difficult living conditions and the state of the economy. May Allah have mercy on her and make things easier for those who are struggling in silence!🤲🏾

I want to express my sincere gratitude to H.E President @officialABAT for congratulating me and assuring @namyouthorg the Nigerian government’s unwavering support. This support is invaluable and without it we could achieve so much less. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the administration’s support throughout my official duties particularly during the elections.

Why does he need to be arrested? Is the presidential villa funded by tax payers a secret dungeon that no one can ever know or discuss? What crime did he commit to show people where the president lives? Y’all are too backward and annoying.
You see this man, the day DSS will pick him up, he will start crying oppression.. Now who asked for this information and how is it of any use to the average Nigerian?

The growing insecurity in Kaduna metropolis, particularly around Millennium City, should concern every one of us, Millennium City had the potential to become one of the fastest growing residential and commercial settlements in Kaduna. Its location, available land, expanding housing developments and proximity to major parts of the metropolis positioned it to attract significant private investment and generate substantial economic activity.but insecurity has come at a very heavy cost. Beyond the immediate fear and hardship experienced by residents, we must also consider the economic opportunities that insecurity has taken away from Kaduna. Investors who could have built estates, shopping centres, offices, schools, hospitality businesses and other enterprises may now think twice, businesses that should have expanded are operating cautiously, property development that could have created thousands of direct and indirect jobs is being slowed down and economic activities that would have generated income for families and revenue for government are being lost. In other words, the cost of insecurity is not measured only in the incidents we hear about. There is also the invisible cost of opportunities that never materialise because people no longer feel safe enough to invest, live or do business. Millennium City could have been contributing far more significantly to the economic growth of Kaduna today. Its continued development would have created employment, increased demand for local services, strengthened the property market and stimulated businesses across the wider metropolis. This is why I sincerely appeal to the Kaduna State Government and our security agencies to take decisive and sustained action to restore security in Millennium City and other affected parts of Kaduna metropolis. We cannot afford to lose both the security of our people and the economic opportunities that their communities should be creating, the people of Millennium City deserve to live, work, invest and raise their families without fear. They deserve to sleep with their eyes closed. May Allah protect our people and restore lasting peace to Kaduna.
