Last night, he walked back in front of a crowd in Delaware with one message: “This is no time to give up.” The crowd rose to its feet again and again. The Delaware News Journal described flashes of the same “scrappy, fighting spirit” that has defined him for decades. Stage IV cancer. 83 years old. Still standing. Still speaking. Still fighting. Just like he has his entire life, you knock @JoeBiden down, and he gets right back up. For millions of us, that resilience remains an inspiration. Keep fighting, Joe. 🇺🇸

Tuesday → Faculty Director Professor Stephanie Barclay delivered Ohio State’s annual Constitution Day Lecture, “The Future of the Religion Clauses at the Supreme Court,” exploring the future of religious liberty at the Court. Wednesday → The Center co-hosted Georgetown Law’s Supreme Court Term Preview for the first time. Professor Barclay joined leading Supreme Court experts to discuss major cases coming before the Court in its October 2026 Term. Thursday, Constitution Day → Faculty Director Professor Randy Barnett spoke to Georgetown Law’s Federalist Society on “But What About Slavery? Reframing the Founding,” examining antislavery constitutionalism and the Founding. Friday → We closed out the week with a Book Workshop for Professor Brad Snyder on his forthcoming book, Special Favorite of the Laws: How the Supreme Court Overturned the Last Civil Rights Act of Reconstruction and Prevented Congress from Protecting our Constitutional Rights.
