I've gotten the endorsement of 42 sheriffs across New York. That's an overwhelming majority. That's stunning.  The current sheriffs of New York endorsed the challenger instead of the sitting attorney general, who they've worked with for eight years.

Yesterday, every person I have come to know and learn from in this ORES battle gathered in my Amish barn, with the @USDA and @johnrich, to call for the dissolution of this bureaucratic office. After John called the meeting to order, I read my speech I wrote the night before. I mean every word of this speech. These are everyday people who are heroes. Kathy Hochul is protecting 14,766 illegal alien criminals in New York The un-honored detainers include 96 hom*cides and 114 kidnappings. They also include 448 sexual assaults, 1,407 DUIs, and 1,438 burglaries. She will NOT let ICE pick them up upon their release from jails and prisons. SHE RELEASES THEM BACK INTO THE NYS POPULATION to re-offend!!!

They love this argument: If you can’t distinguish between various factions of far-leftism, then you’re automatically disqualified from having an opinion. Up front, here are the definitions (plus bonus Leninism definition): Communists = Strive for a classless society with common ownership of production. Marxists = Communists who believe in a classless society as the end of history. Leninists = Those who idolize the man who operationalized Marxism to its logical conclusion. Socialists = Fake meaning (Berniebros): Kids who like free stuff. Real meaning (PSL, DSA): Communists who pretend to tolerate dissent. And now here’s the reason why they’re all interchangeable and why it’s perfectly OK for everyone to use any one of those terms to refer to the others: They all advocate to overthrow the American government via revolution. Every single faction I’ve researched has had links to foreign hostile governments in service of revolution. Rubio’s Cuba Report from last week did a good job of documenting far left ties to Cuba. But what’s not covered is their deep ties to Venezuela, Nicaragua, Iran, China, and more. Far-leftists are fundamentally subversive to the core, with allegiances to foreign hostile governments. All of them. That’s what makes them interchangeable. Not whether they decide their party platform via Comintern vs. parliament. They’re “populist” only insofar as their allegiance is to some arbitrary Communist utopia rather than NATO. Which, by the way, is why I’m going to call out any right-wing commentator who proposes forming alliances with so-called “left-wing populists.” State governments must take the lead in banning far-leftists from voting in local elections or holding statewide office.

On October 8, at approximately 4:00 PM ET, ICE officers were conducting a targeted enforcement operation in the Bronx, New York, to arrest a criminal illegal alien from the Dominican Republic with a prior criminal conviction for grand larceny, and multiple prior arrests for assault, robbery, possession of drugs, and weapons possession. He has associations to the Trinitarios gang, the same gang who brutally shot a CBP officer last year. This criminal illegal alien was arrested by the NYPD on December 7, 2023, but was released into the community a few days later by reckless Democrat sanctuary policies that put American lives at risk. During the incident, an ICE officer discharged his weapon and the criminal illegal alien was injured. ICE officers immediately rendered aid. The individual is alive and at a local hospital. The FBI and HSI are on the scene. The incident remains under investigation. More information will be shared as it becomes available. When dangerous illegal aliens are released back onto the streets by radical sanctuary politicians, our officers are forced to make arrests at large in the community in unpredictable and dangerous environments. Our officers should not have to risk their lives, and innocent Americans should not have to face unnecessary danger, because sanctuary politicians refuse to cooperate with federal law enforcement.

The Rochester City Council voted to spend $1.1M with an activist's non-profit to oversee Peace Village, a collection of sheds which will house 19 people. That works out to $57,894 per homeless person per year. In Rochester, the annual rent for a luxury two-bedroom apartment averages $20,000 a year. The homeless people will live in "pallet shelters," which don't look like they would pass code and which have light showing through cracks in the joints and doors, and which cost the city $39,473 each. They are flimsier, smaller and dramatically more expensive than commonly available Amish sheds. The city spends a lot of money in the name of the homeless, and a lot of it seems to go into the pockets of middlemen.
