Washington is experiencing capital flight and this is backed by IRS data. Washington has the 5th highest exodus in the country. These are the people who start and invest in companies. Ironically, they hire the samepeople who are screaming for an income tax. 25% of job creators and company owners are considering leaving Washington. Home listings appear to be 27% higher than last year. It's easy to screech that millionaires need to "pay their fair share" without knowing the facts: 🔴The top 10% of filers (AGI of about $187,600 or more) earned 47.6% of adjusted gross income and paid 70.5% of all federal individual income taxes (about $1.51 trillion). 🔴The bottom 50% (AGI below about $53,800) earned 12.3% of AGI and paid 3.3% of federal individual income taxes (about $70 billion). Fair share, right? Add a state income tax, which is unconstitutional, and the numbers don't make sense. It's based purely on septum ring rage. What's sad is the septum rings think millionaires only work at Microsoft or Amazon and live in Medina. A millionaire is likely your small business owner neighbor. The dude who owns three car washes. The woman who owns a small marketing agency. The kid who started a rocket company. The 4th generation grandpa who has 2 auto body shops. The couple who owns a restaurant. The irony is the income tax is coming for everyone. It's in the law's language. And the Olympia socialists admit it. It'll be hilarious when the nickel drops and the septum rings figure that one out. And when that happens, the job creators and investors will have largely evacuated the state. Cool.

Your Voters' Pamphlet just landed in your mailbox. Before you read the NO side's argument on page 14, flip to page 10. Page 10 is where the State explains what Initiative IP26-645 really does. The two pages do not match. The NO side says families will pay sales tax on diapers. The Attorney General says those tax breaks "would not be repealed and would remain in place." The NO side says voters always have the final say. Olympia added a clause that blocked a voter referendum on this tax. It took more than 500,000 signatures to get you this vote. The NO side says 460,000 families get a tax increase. The State says the expanded Working Families Tax Credit stays. The NO side says free school lunches get eliminated. An amendment to dedicate 5% of this tax to free school lunches was voted down, 41 to 54. April Berg voted no. Don't take my word for it. Read pages 10 to 14 yourself. Where I stand: YES on I-645. Repeal the income tax. Where April Berg stands: she voted for the tax. Where do you stand? Vote accordingly and be heard November 3rd. Make sure your voice is represented in Olympia. Audit this. If ASI is inevitable, then where are the aliens? The Doomers believe ASI will wipe out humanity and then travel the stars. If true, then ASI from other stars should have found us by now, argues @micsolana piratewires.com/p/doom-analy…

One of the predictions I made in May 2995. I also said companies would sell compute and storage over the Internet ("cloud") and Internet search would be important. :-)
I sat down with @BenSlivka, an early Microsoft executive who led the team that built Internet Explorer, served 20 years on Northwestern University's Board of Trustees, and has spent decades since as an angel investor across biotech, space, and software startups. youtu.be/xghaeBHamYs?si=d4ZE…

Washington State is 45 out of 50. :-(
Defending Education (@DefendingEd) released their state rankings for how well public schools resist gender ideology and DEI, and for parental rights, teacher policies, and foreign influence. Glad to see Tennessee ranked #1! There are lots of reasons @buttonslives and I moved here to start a family. No state income tax, more affordable housing, natural beauty, and it's strong resistance to wokeness makes it hard to beat! And we're not the only ones who noticed. Everywhere we go we see SO MANY young families with infants and toddlers. It's great to see! See the full report at the link below. 🔗defendinged.org/investigatio…

One of the largest private contractors in Seattle is @McKinstryCareer has Senate Majority Leader Jamie Pedersen as their General Counsel. Jamie led the charge in passing the unconstitutional income tax. He’s is also leading the charge on the payroll tax the WA Dem Communist Caucus want to pass on wages over $130,000 (See Rep. Shaun Scott). This week he took his threats to the public saying that if voters dare to vote against his will, he will usher in the payroll tax. Jamie and his ilk will do anything to get their way. There is no such thing as Democracy in WA anymore. Near supermajority in the legislature and full control over the executive branch and a current stranglehold on the judiciary means we are getting hosed left and right. BUT, 5 of the Supreme Court seats are up for election this year. This is an unprecedented chance to put a check on the far left. Don’t let apathy get you, vote. It’s as easy as it gets. Get your ballot, vote and turn it at a drop box (don’t mail). We need to elect these judicial candidate in November!! 👇 🗳️ Edwards 🗳️ Stevens 🗳️ O'Donnell 🗳️ Larson 🗳️ Bloom

Giving this a second listen 1) First off, it strikes me that this unconstitutional income tax has absolutely nothing to do in their mind with raising revenue, it is all about how much money these arrogant kleptocratic legislators think you should be allowed to keep to “be comfortable… “ 2) Straight up their intention is to expand the tax - even before it collects a dime 3) $250K per household means $125K per person — its coming for you sooner than you even thought 4) Hmmm now it makes sense why they took the protections off everyones’ pension and retirment accounts 5) A corporate income tax is on her wish list… Do you hear that Brad Smith you are not safe sitting on the sidelines they want you for the second course Your paycheck, business, and job is in their crosshairs. Vote Yes I-645 to Repeal the Income Tax before it is too late.
NEW: Democratic Rep Cindy Ryu admits her party plans to lower the threshold on the income tax from millionaires to everyone in WA state & that she wants to tax companies more She told KUOW, "Let's look at less, about 250,000. Can we live well on$250,000 a year of net income?"

But it couldn’t be social contagion, folks. It’s just that young people, especially autistic, gay and mentally ill ones, are finally free to be their authentic selves. The sudden explosion of young women who want to cut off their healthy breasts and take testosterone? Well, it’s absolutely not the newest form of self-harm, to which troubled adolescent girls are provably prone, ok? It’s not a consequence of the commonplace fear of becoming an adult woman, with all that that entails. No, there’s nothing to worry about there. The possibility of regret? Naturally, we don’t let minors get tattoos or own guns or vote, because that would be ridiculous, but if they want irreversible surgeries and drug treatments, they must be given them, and everyone around them must immediately agree they are now the opposite sex. That’s called being kind. And the mounting numbers of detransitioners? They were never trans, obviously, and should be mercilessly attacked, especially if they now say they were vulnerable and in a friendship group, online or off, dominated by trans identities, where transitioning was presented as a way to resolve all their social and emotional difficulties. (I have the emails). No, there’s nothing whatsoever to see here. Keep justifying it, keep cheering it on, keep insisting that the doctors and drug companies making serious money out of it all are acting with the purest of motives. Answer every reasonable question with an accusation of hatred and bigotry. Dispel every qualm of conscience with an activist-approved talking point. Reassure yourself that everyone on your dinner party circuit agrees with you. And when, in years to come, we’re all looking back on graphs like this, be proud that you did your bit to monster whistleblowers, parrot unevidenced claims and create the climate of fear that allowed the worst medical scandal in a century to take place.
This data never ceases to "amaze" me. In 2005, very few people received any transition related genital surgery (120 over the whole of 🇩🇪), in 2025 it was 4,184. And the shift in the age distribution is staggering: Surgeries on 18-25 year olds were almost non-existent in the noughties, now they dominate every other age group by a large factor. (This is official data)

How the one-party state in Washington disenfranchises voters: - Referendums on unpopular laws are prevented by pretending they're emergencies. - Initatives that would pass for sure are preempted by the Legislature adopting them so it can later quietly repeal them. - Repealing a law requires voting "Yes" on an initiative, guaranteeing that many voters mistakenly vote "No". - Initiatives on the ballot have mandated "impact statements" with falsehoods designed to dupe low-information voters into voting against. - Attempts to correct these statements are thrown out by partisan judges. - Initiatives that passed by popular vote are thrown out by politically appointed Supreme Court justices under absurd pretexts. Enough is enough. Send all these hacks a message by voting Yes on I-645 Repeal the Income Tax.

Researchers proved AI has deleted every reason universities exist. Harvard University ran a controlled experiment pitting a custom AI against their own top-tier classrooms. And the results are going to collapse the higher education bubble. They took 194 undergraduates and split them up. One group learned physics in one of Harvard’s best hands-on, active-learning physical classrooms. Group work. Instructor support. The premium university experience. The other group went home and learned the exact same material with an AI tutor. The AI didn't just win. It embarrassed the institution. Students using the AI learned more than twice as much as the students in the elite Harvard classroom. They scored 30% higher on the final assessment. And they did it in less time. Let that sink in. A piece of software sitting on a laptop outperformed a world-class faculty in one of the most elite learning environments on Earth. Universities have always justified their exorbitant tuition with two things: access to elite knowledge and the physical classroom experience. This study just proved both of those moats are gone. When software can teach you complex physics twice as well as a $60,000-a-year institution, the math of higher education breaks permanently. The AI didn't just give the students answers. It used strict pedagogical guardrails. It guided. It questioned. It forced the students to do the cognitive work. It offered perfect, one-to-one tutoring, personalized to the exact moment a student misunderstood a concept. That level of attention is mathematically impossible to scale in a physical lecture hall. For a thousand years, the university was the only place to get a premium education. Now, it’s the bottleneck. If AI can double your learning speed for a fraction of the cost, what exactly are students taking on decades of debt to pay for?

Heather lands every point on restoring safety in our drugged out filthy cities. Seattle is one of the most beautiful cities in the world but decrim, defund, and diversion vs. jail or treatment has landed us #1 in homelessness growth by 418% and now #4 in death by overdose.
What can government do to restore sanity to drugged-out, filth-encrusted, dangerous city streets? Defund the advocates and refund jails and insane asylums. There is money to do so if we stop supporting activist social programs. Create ample incarceration and institutional capacity and thereby strip every excuse, such as prison overcrowding, from deincarcerating prosecutors and judges. Two strikes and you’re out. Ditch Housing First, replace with Treatment First and judicial oversight.

Vote for these five judges… they are recommended by Republicans because they are more likely to uphold the law, not because they have an agenda. Their opponents are just a radical rubber stamp for Democrats and that delegitimizes the court with rulings based on agendas, not law. There’s a reason these races are nonpartisan. Judges shouldn’t take a side, other than the law.
