Metrics started in MLB. I get it—it’s professional baseball. Then they moved to college, then HS, and now youth baseball. Do we really need all these metrics at every level? At some point, kids just need to learn how to play the game.

Baseball is like a train ride. Everyone gets on, but everyone has a different stop. For some, it ends in youth baseball. Others in high school, college or the pros. Very few make it to the end of the line. Enjoy the ride while it lasts.

Average players goof around until it's their turn at practice. Better players watch whoever goes before them. Good players notice what the player did right or wrong. Great players LEARN when the coach corrects someone else... so they don't waste a rep making the same mistake. @6am_Practice
