Message to my Jewish friends, in London and Israel (including the ones I've know for half a century): apparently I'm antisemitic now.
Note the choice of word - and the pain in his voice when he says it - when he says we *must* recognise the increase in antisemitic attacks around the world. He gave himself away there: he didnโt want to recognise it but he had to. โMust we? I suppose we must.โ

Holborn & St Pancras has been one of Labourโs safest seats for decades.
For Zack Polanski to take 35.6% is a stark sign of Labour voter disillusionment.
Starmer quit the seat he had held for ten years despite saying that he wouldn't; his farewell u-turn.
Then Labour treated it as though voters would simply fall into line. They didnโt.
This is what happens when a party takes its base for granted and offers too little change.

Our Soph has got the boot
Iโve been suspended at work since July following an anonymous grievance (not anonymous as the company accidentally revealed who it was) that said: โSophieโs views are much more extreme than the perspectives of someone Iโd feel comfortable working with.โ
My employer refused to obtain witness accounts I believe are essential to my defence and refused permission for me to contact colleagues to obtain them. Iโm pursuing legal action.
I also reported that my manager said he didnโt want to hire white people because they were โlazyโ. Both white managers at our workplace were suspended at the same time (me being one of them) Iโm deeply concerned about how this has been handled.
With finding work already so difficult for young people, this has been incredibly hard. I donโt believe I should be facing this. If anyone has advice, or a shoulder to cry on, Iโd really appreciate it.
