The @EPWGOP passed my Cold Weather Diesel Reliability Act! My bill ends an EPA compliance trap and prevents the dangerous shutdown of engines in extreme cold temperatures. This is a huge step forward for truckers, farmers, mechanics and operators who keep Alaska and our nation moving.

This morning, the MORE American Fuel Act, a bill @SenMarkKelly and I introduced together, passed 18-1 out of @EPWGOP. Wyoming's uranium reserves and skilled workforce can power America's energy and nuclear fuel security. No more relying on Russia. Domestic fuel production starts now.

It was a pleasure join @GasOilWV’s summer meeting this morning at @The_Greenbrier, and to welcome @EnergyUnderSec to the meeting at my invitation.   In the Senate, I am hard at work to pass meaningful permitting reform legislation that will help our oil and gas industry build faster and more efficiently throughout our state.   I am committed to continuing my partnership with the Trump administration to promote West Virginia oil and gas, which provides essential energy for the entire Appalachian Basin.

Passing the Water Resources Development Act out of our committee unanimously every two years—for over a decade—really is evidence that collaborative legislating still exists in the United States Senate. Our bill supports projects across North Dakota like the Eastern North Dakota Alternate Water Supply Project that folks in Fargo and up and down the Red River Valley are very familiar with, and the Williston Levee, while also authorizing water infrastructure programs North Dakota, our tribes, and rural townships rely on.
