The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of New York announced that five non-citizens, including a Canadian national from Tupper Lake, have been arrested for voter fraud. The U.S. Attorney's Office states that all 5 noncitizens knew they were not permitted to vote, but did anyway. If convicted, the defendants could face up to a year in prison and a $100,000 fine.
