3D printing propellant and building solid rocket motors.

Dallas, TX
Firehawk is proud to officially announce the Great Plains Arsenal! In Lawton, Oklahoma we will produce over a million pounds of propellant per year, make a hundred thousand rocket motors annually, employ over hundred people, and generate hundreds of millions of dollars in economic impact for the state. We are thrilled to announce this first of its kind facility.

Munition capacity has arrived in Crawford, Mississippi. 40,000 all-up rounds per year at initial operating capacity ✅ 120,000 per year at full-rate capacity✅ 636 acres to expand on ✅ Deterrence requires production to match demand. Firehawk is building to make sure production, replenishment, and capacity never become the reason America or its allies have to compromise the mission.

Rochefort-backed Firehawk Aerospace continues to make significant progress on its Great Plains Arsenal in Lawton, Oklahoma, with site work now complete and the first four buildings expected to be finished in early 2027. Once operational, the facility is expected to become the third-largest producer of rocket propellant in the United States, creating more than 100 jobs while strengthening domestic manufacturing capacity and supporting the future of the U.S. defense industrial base. @FirehawkAero @williewockets @Jkylebass 🇺🇸 kswo.com/2026/09/09/firehawk…

Congrats to the team at Firehawk on a 100% success rate testing of Hydra-70 rockets built in Crawford, Mississippi. This is exactly the kind of speed and innovation we need — more competition, more capacity, built faster. This is how we rebuild America's arsenal.
🚨 Firehawk today announced the successful live-fire test of Hydra-70 rockets built in their Crawford, MS facility, achieving a 100% success rate. America and its allies need additional production capacity. And they need modern manufacturing approaches that can bring that capacity online faster. This test demonstrates that we can build, test and iterate quickly while meeting the performance requirements of a fielded system. That is how we start building America’s arsenal faster.

Proud to see @FirehawkAero (a Rochefort portfolio company) awarded $24M through the Department of War’s IBAS program to scale domestic propellant production for the M1128 155mm base bleed system. As demand for critical munitions grows, this is exactly the kind of investment our industrial base needs: expanding manufacturing capacity and production scalability where it matters most. Honored to help catalyze private capital into America’s top defense innovators. 🇺🇸 @williewockets @Rochefort_US @SecWar @USPACOM
Rochefort-backed Firehawk Aerospace has been awarded $24 million through the Department of War's Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment (IBAS) program to support expanded domestic propellant production for the M1128 155mm base bleed system. As demand for critical munitions continues to grow, investments that strengthen manufacturing capacity and improve production scalability will play an important role in reinforcing the U.S. defense industrial base. @FirehawkAero @williewockets 🇺🇸

🚨 Firehawk was awarded $24M through @OASWIBP to expand domestic production of propellants and accelerate readiness for the M1128 155mm base bleed system. Propellant production remains one of the most significant bottlenecks in U.S. munitions manufacturing. Current legacy cast-and-cure processes are slow, labor-intensive, and difficult to scale at the levels required for DOW’s modern operational needs. Firehawk’s program directly addresses this challenge through a 22–month, $24 million effort designed to deliver a rapid, scalable, and cost-effective propellant manufacturing capacity.

Huge fan of @williewockets. He’s building a defining company in defense.
Firehawk’s key innovation is in how rocket propellant is produced. A process that normally takes 15–60 days has been reduced to about six hours. That breakthrough is what will make Firehawk the third-largest producer of rocket propellant in the country next year. @williewockets |@Furrier | @theCUBE | @GemmaAllenSays | @bjbaumann2014

OPINION: “To ensure that America maintains its military superiority, we must invest in new manufacturers that will allow us to replenish our vast arsenal of various conventional and precision-guided missiles, rockets and artillery shells,” @williewockets argues.

@FirehawkAero is proud to sponsor the Lawton Rangers Rodeo this weekend! The state of Oklahoma has been incredible to us. At Great Plains Arsenal, we’ve moved more than 400 million pounds of dirt as we prepare to build what will become a major part of Firehawk’s future. Soon, buildings will be going up and we’re just getting started. We owe the Lawton and Oklahoma communities a tremendous amount, and we’re excited to deliver on that promise. We’re proud to be building here and even prouder to be part of this community. Great to see @GovStitt and @TomColeOK04 - thank you for all your support.

🚨The U.S. Army has awarded Firehawk an OTA agreement to diversify the Hydra-70 rocket supply chain and revitalize its defense industrial base. Upon successful prototype demonstration, follow-on agreements are planned to expand this effort to other variants in the Hydra-70 family of rockets which typically procures 100-200K annually. This is why Firehawk was founded. To expand manufacturing capacity of the military's most widely used munitions. Deterrence depends on production.
