I've been making this mock apple pie with my garden zucchini & it's fooled my guy. He even bought more shells for me LOL I tried to get fancy with the top..bit of a fail, but i'm sure will bake fine. Not sure I will ever fess up it's not apple tho LOL

I didn't do too bad participating in the flower/veggie show at my horticultural meeting. Quite pleased to have done well again! Marigolds took 1st & 2nd, did great with my carrots again too! just for bragging rights, but it's fun. Won a Lions Mane mushroom kit in the raffle too

my guy loves apocalypse flicks..I feel prepared, but not sure what he's gonna eat, it's mostly veggies LOL Need to get the pantry in the basement organized, all of this labeled and put away so I can have the garage back but will save me $$ all winter!

I have 2 boxes..one peeters out quick, the everbearing last forever. I've oddly even had some asparagus coming up, but I'm just letting it seed. still need to pull carrots, beets, celery, cabbage & some more onions. Harvesting takes forever, got a pile of walking onions
