Today FAA updated Helicopter Routes 1 and 5 to remain restricted to priority aircraft only medical, and law enforcement unless specifically authorized by air traffic control – a change made immediately following the DCA collision. They reduced the boundaries of Zones 1, 2, & 5.

FYI The Air Force has tourism helicopters as well. They fly over our homes often without the mandatory flight safety transponders. @EleanorNorton and @SenatorCantwell are questioning this practice though!

Air Force 1st Heli Squadron, which typically used ADS-B transponder once a year, is currently flying 4 helicopters with ADS-B on. Could this be because of the urging of @SenatorCantwell at last weeks senate hearing? Following up on the letter @EleanorNorton wrote at my request?

I don’t usually use my platform for this but if you are frustrated that @Parkmobile abuses its status as a municipal vendor to market gift cards without the option to disable marketing notifications, I recommend reporting to @AppleSupport. I assume it is not within UX guidelines
