Election reform should not be about giving one party an advantage. It should be about giving every American confidence that our elections belong to the American people.
That is the principle behind the bipartisan Stop Foreign Funds in Elections Act, which the House passed unanimously yesterday.
This bill closes a dangerous loophole that allowed foreign nationals to finance ballot initiatives, referenda, and recall elections.
I’m grateful to @IssueOneReform for supporting this legislation and calling on the Senate to act.
American elections must be decided by American citizens alone.

A donor can now give up to $310,100 per year to a party committee like the NRSC or DSCC, or $620,200 per election cycle, as @IssueOneReform explains here

My read is that now instead a max contribution of $3,500 to a candidate's campaign, an individual can now give $180,700 to a combo of entities (Candidate campaign + nat'l party committee + additional national party committee accounts) that can give to candidate.
Is that right?
