What this debacle has taught many of us about the government mandating adding synthetic folic acid to most flour in a few weeks is how little we know about what is in some of our staple foods. Clean eating now needs to be considered if possible. Afterall you are what you eat.

We're assisting the family of CJ to help him find a new home after his owner sadly passed away.
CJ is a 6.5 year old Lab cross Husky, he is very friendly, although slightly confused at the moment as he is missing his female owner.
CJ is house trained and walks well on the lead. He is neutered and registered with a vets.
We don't have a lot of information sadly.
He is eating dry food.
CJ is a calm dog. He hasn't lived with other animals,
When he has been out and about for walks he hasn't had any issues with other pets or children.
As we don't know how he is with young kids, we'd suggest a home with older kids of a teenage age instead.

Great to see some big names with over 250k followers on X now sharing the petition about stopping the mandate for synthetic folic acid being added to most flour from December. The number of signatures noticebly rising making 100k signatures achievable & raising more awareness.
Thank you to everyone who is spreading the word about folic acid.
It is really making a difference.

I made pancakes with the coconut flour I purchased. They tasted great as I love coconut but they didn't resemble pancakes.🙈 One good thing about avoiding synthetic folic acid is cooking creatively. A friend has prostate cancer so this trial & error cooking info helps him too!👌

I brought some coconut flour yesterday. No idea how it will taste yet but until I can buy non synthetic folic acid flour mandated by the Labour government then I will avoid all products containing it & try other options. Please, if you are worried sign @ClareCraigPath petition.

Just heartbreaking 💔 😢
Two amazing women transporting rescue dogs from Turkiye for Homeward Bound Rescue lost their lives in a tragic accident on the motorway in Romania, along with 9 out of the 10 dogs on board 😢💔🌈
The sole surviving dog is now being cared for by a local Romanian rescuer.
Today is entirely about them, the silent heroes who gave everything trying to bring the voiceless away from danger and toward a brighter future. The physical and emotional price of rescue is immense, and their selflessness, courage, and compassion will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace to two incredible human souls, and to the sweet Homeward Bound dogs who deserved the lives of safety and freedom they were heading toward. Our deepest condolences to Homeward Bound Rescue, the families and all those who loved them 🕊️💔

Thankfully, I do not shop in either. I am also genuinely not surprised that these two supermarkets are sadly leading the way. More consumers need to check the ingredients of many everyday household products especially if, for medical reasons, they need to avoid folic acid.
