So Obama Thunders Down from Olympus The White House Press corps and the liberal media have gone ballistic over President Trump’s recent banning of CNN, MS NOW, and Politico from the White House press room. Apparently Trump had finally had it with their decade-long trail of “fake news” (e.g., CNN on the Steele dossier: the intelligence community had “corroborated all the details.”; MS(NBC): “All the supporting details in Steele's reports are checking out, even the really outrageous ones.”; and Politico (“Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say.”). Or maybe it was Trump’s weariness that CNN and MS never learned from their serial untruth. The former for years put on their news shows the admitted liar (“least most untruthful”) James Clapper; The latter likewise hired the twice-admitted-liar John Brennan (on his demonstrable spying on Senate computers, Brennan thundered under oath: “Nothing could be further from the truth. We wouldn't do that.”) So after witnessing the fake news’s spreading lies about the “walls are closing in on Trump” Mueller Investigation, ginning up the “mostly peaceful” 2020 riots, running with the Jussie Smollett farce, demonizing the Covington Kids, iconizing the assailant Trayvon Martin, and promulgating the “Hands up, Don’t Shoot” Ferguson fable, and on and on—I suppose Trump finally had enough. In reaction and as expected, a sanctimonious Barack Obama now has jetted out from one of his three mansions and into the expulsion controversy. And also as his wont, Obama almost immediately on spec opened himself up to the usual charges of rank hypocrisy and empty, performance-art virtue-signaling. So Obama thundered, “I’m trying to think what would have happened if I had said, ‘You know what, Fox News? You’re out of here.’ It’s unimaginable.” Actually, it’s not “unimaginable”, if Obama would just look into the mirror. So wait a minute. In 2009 the Obama Treasury Department tried to ban a Fox reporter from a press pool interview. Earlier during the 2008 campaign, Obama kicked out New York Post and Washington Times reporters from his campaign plane. But Obama was most notorious not for just excluding politically incorrect reporters but for surveilling and spying on them. Even liberal watchdog foundations blasted Obama in 2012-13 for grabbing the private records of some twenty phone lines used at home and on the job by Associated Press reporters. Most notoriously, it was finally revealed in 2013 that Obama’s State Department secretly had bird-dogged Fox Reporter James Rosen relentlessly— tracking his movements, obtaining a search warrant to examined two days’ worth of his private emails, and getting access to his private phone records. If Obama is still “trying to think what would have happened” when he surveilled and spied on a Fox reporter relentlessly, he can stop—since nothing as usual happened to the always exempt Obama. And Obama did not just at times eject reporters and surveille them. He also threatened to prosecute eight reporters and their sources (more than any administration before or since, including Richard Nixon’s). But he backed down when the AP and Rosen scandals surfaced and cooled down his Inspector Javert alter ego. The hammer/stiletto difference between a loud Trump and a smooth Obama? Trump blows up publicly, rails, and earns furor from “shocked”, sober and judicious journalists” who covet their White House billets—while he also earns the damnation of the liberal legacy media for his antics. But far more egregiously Obama used the powers of the administrative state, secretly and quietly, to surveille, follow, and spy on reporters and their sources, while threatening to prosecute and jail others—and he disguised his vindictiveness by his lofty tone and polished demeanor. As he anticipated, Obama’s victims and the media itself largely kept still, afraid to concede that their messianic “constitutional lawyer” possessed an Orwellian mean streak and was a far greater danger to the First Amendment. Or as the Left taught us, the fundamental threat to our Constitution is when “democracy dies in darkness.” Postscript: Obama also could not resist his “clingers” like demonization of Trump supporters, in the fashion of Hillary’s “deplorables” and “irredeemables”, and Biden’s “garbage”, “chumps”, “semi-fascists”, and “dregs”. So he also blasted not just Trump for the expulsions, but returned to his accustomed stereotype putdown of Neanderthal-like Trump supporters who are supposedly under-developed (e.g., “what that means is that we’ve have not developed the kind of understanding of what democracy requires”): “If you have a certain cohort, let's call it 30 to 35 percent of the country right now, which thinks that's okay, well, what that means is we have not developed the kind of understanding of what democracy requires, and we've got to shore that back up.” I wonder how Obama would do that shoring up of a third of America? Surveilling, tracking, and spying on them? Note finally, that even Hillary’s deplorables were only half of Trump’s half of the nation, “You could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables”) whereas Obama writes off a third of the entire country!

25 years ago, today…we learned what “globalize the intifada” means. Seems we’ve forgotten.

For years, pastors have failed to practice discipline, especially as it relates to women. If they ever got up the guts to say no and the women screamed, they would immediately back down. Part of reclaiming a sane culture is telling people no. No, you don’t get to do whatever you want. No, you don’t get to escape the consequences. No, you don’t get your way just because you scream louder. No. We need much more no in our culture.

Dual citizenship in Congress isn't diversity. It's a conflict of interest.

We conservatives need to learn how to wield power. The most effective conservative governor of all time is leaving office soon. Instead of championing his efforts and recognizing that we can pull the levers of government to actually shrink government control and ensure even more conservative outcomes in the future, we as a movement tried to negate him over the dumbest reasons ever. We don’t deserve good leadership if we can’t recognize it, champion it and emulate it. Long live @RonDeSantis and I pray the constituency is able to one day soon see his wisdom, efforts and triumphs as the model for success across the nation.

Standing in line at CVS today to pick up a prescription for Yolanda. They were still 10 minutes from reopening after lunch (yes, really), and about 60 people were waiting. An older gentleman—a Navy veteran—and I started talking about Fauci’s refusal to testify. Before long, it felt like the entire line was listening. I was about to take a poll when we realized something surprising: roughly 90% of the people around us had no idea what we were talking about. Most had never even heard of the Fauci diary. Whether you see that as concerning or not, it says something about how fragmented the public information landscape has become. And yes, folks, this is today’s America, and why Bolsheviks, jihadists, and Marxists are winning elections. Americans have had it too good for too long, and their complacency is about to cost them it all.

Dr Fauci and Mr. Science The Fauci files reveal not just a sociopathic narcissist, but also a pathological schizophrenic. For years, Fauci was assuring the public of Covid narratives that he either knew were untrue, or knew little about. He posed as a non-partisan, even as he collaborated with the leftwing cable news grandees and liberal columnists to hound his enemies and magnify his godhead. From the virus’s origins and effects of the lockdowns, to the efficacy of the mRNA vaccinations to the always changing 0/1/2 masks wearing protocols, Fauci used his massive government agency, and sycophantic media, to promote his always fluid narratives by punishing enemies and rewarding friends—on the basis of their loyalty to Dr. “I represent science”. He seemed to be obsessed with firing White House Covid advisor Scott Atlas, and demonizing Jay Bhattacharya, Sunetra Gupta and Martin Kulldorff—for the crimes of questioning the Fauci party line. These critics were not radical “let it rip” herd immunologists as the Fauci camp caricatured them, but circumspect, cost-to-benefit doctors and savvy health policy analysts. Their views, if embraced, might have avoided a multibillion-dollar global shutdown that wrecked economies—especially derailing the booming 4th quarter 2019 Trump economy—increased the death toll, destroyed millions of livelihoods, harmed perhaps permanently the education of millions U.S. children, and was hardly based on the “science”. And what exactly were the so-called extremist views of Atlas, Bhattacharya, and others? Healthy children were not at great risk from Covid—but keeping them isolated drained away key resources from the elderly and sick who certainly were vulnerable. And the nationwide school closures had profound negative effects on children and teens as did the lockdowns on the general population. Substance and familial abuse soared, small businesses were ruined, and children’s formative educational years were lost. 24/7 mask wearing was neither practical nor necessary as opposed to their beneficial use by health care workers in close proximities. The experimental mRNA vaccinations may have initially saved lives, but they were not, as billed by Fauci and the pharmaceutical companies, lasting protection from either infectiousness or being infected. And certainly the repeated booster regimens for some could pose serious health risks. Herd immunity was not some crank idea, as the Fauci school libeled these experts, but, along with the initial vaccinations, were time-tested medical realities that would mitigate the toxicity of the pandemic. We have seen a lot of obscene hoaxes recently that changed national events: the loony Jussie Smollett caper; the phony “Steele dossier”; the “51 intelligence authorities” and the Russian-produced Hunter Biden laptop con; and the media fabricated effigy of Joe Biden as “fit as a fiddle”. But Fauci’s effort to attribute the virus to a bat or pangolin publicly, while privately accepting from his own consultants that it likely was birthed in the Wuhan lab’s gain of function research—which he had helped to support via Peter Daszak—and the policies that resulted from that initial lie, proved literally for thousands a matter of life and death.

I think ending welfare for immigrants would solve most of our immigrant problem

Republicans should start moving now to enact legislation to prevent foreign born citizens from holding office. Because what has happened is that they have flooded the country with voters who have their own tribal and foreign interests that are opposed to American values and American culture. We cannot have more Mamdanis and Ilhan Omars in office and expect the American experiment in liberty to survive. We can’t have judges who were just naturalized seven years ago overruling the will of the American electorate. This is not 1910 and these are not European Catholics.
