Waarom nou weer met dwang en strafdreiging en niet met opties, zoals de buren doen? Mijn warmtepomp is vandaag geleverd. In Duitsland krijg je daarbij inkomensafhankelijk subsidie. De laagste inkomens tot wel 80%. Zorg dat mensen zelf wíllen kiezen en faciliteer, als overheid.
Vanaf 2029 gaan we stap voor stap over op slimme en hybride warmtepompen. Bijvoorbeeld als je cv-ketel toe is aan vervanging. Zo wordt je huis comfortabel en breng je je energierekening omlaag. Dat gaan we eenvoudig, betaalbaar en uitvoerbaar doen.

Blöd nur, dass es nicht stimmt: Seine Ehefrau flog auf dem ersten Flug Berlin-Japan mit der Luftwaffe mit, zahlte dafür (wie vorgeschrieben). Ein paar Tage später dann trafen sich die beiden in Australien, nach dem Urlaub flogen sie per Linien-Jet (und auf eigene Kosten) zurück.

Avast antivirus and browser extensions collected URLs, search queries, timestamps, and cookie data from hundreds of millions of users. the pitch: we protect you from online tracking.
Behind the scenes: Avast ran a subsidiary called Jumpshot. Jumpshot packaged that browsing data and sold it to over 100 third parties, advertising companies, marketing firms, data brokers, investment companies.
The data included every webpage you visited, exact timestamps, device and browser type, city, state, country and a unique persistent device identifier attached to your profile.
Avast said it anonymized the data before selling it.
the FTC said that was false, the identifier allowed buyers to trace specific individuals across every website they visited over time.
8 petabytes of browsing data accumulated by 2020.
before 2018 Avast didn't mention any of this in its privacy policy at all.
The FTC fined them $16.5 million in 2024. Avast called it "resolving its investigation of past provisions." they shut down Jumpshot in 2020 after Motherboard first reported it.
$16.5 million is roughly what Avast made selling your data in a single quarter.

With colleagues in various countries, we are constantly discussing the possibilities of Russian escalation across the broader European front. My view has always been—and is now even more so—that the Black Sea must be regarded as a hotspot on par with—and in some respects even more so than—the Baltic.
The Black Sea is already an active military zone, unlike the Baltic; there are a number of vulnerabilities among NATO countries in the region, with Bulgaria being particularly susceptible to provocations—both because of the local political landscape and due to a lack of equipment and capabilities.
It is very easy for Russian forces to exert pressure in the economic zones of the countries in the region without provoking a real response, because these zones are not sovereign territories and it would be more difficult to invoke a collective response clause.
At the same time, any hybrid attack would have serious security implications, as well as economic consequences for local economies, which would suffer from constant tension and the threat of drones, mines, and other threats.

De PVV is tegen belasting op vermogen en stemde daarom gisteren maar tegen een motie die de belastingverhoging in Box 3 wilde voorkomen, met als mogelijke dekking een lagere belasting in Box 2. Logisch toch?
Dat de PVV tegen stemde, lijkt vooral samen te hangen met het volgende:
De PVV wil verder gaan dan deze motie.
Tony van Dijck zette tijdens het debat sterk vraagtekens bij het hele box-3-stelsel. Hij stelde dat een groot deel van de Nederlanders nauwelijks vermogen heeft en dat er volgens hem te veel aandacht uitgaat naar box 3. De PVV heeft eerder ook tegen de nieuwe Wet werkelijk rendement box 3 gestemd.
De PVV is tegen de belasting op vermogen, niet alleen tegen deze tijdelijke verhoging.
In het debat stelde de PVV zich kritisch op tegenover het nieuwe stelsel. In het Kamerdebat is namens de PVV onder meer naar voren gebracht dat de partij liever geen belasting wil heffen over papieren vermogenswinsten.
Motie 29 lost voor de PVV het fundamentele probleem niet op.
De motie zegt eigenlijk: houd de verhoging van het forfait en de verlaging van de vrijstelling tegen, maar zoek daarvoor incidenteel een andere dekking, bijvoorbeeld in box 2. Dat betekent dat box 3 als belasting blijft bestaan. De PVV lijkt een veel verdergaande koers voor te staan dan alleen deze tijdelijke reparatie.
Er is bovendien een belangrijk verschil met vorig jaar.
In 2025 stemde de PVV vóór het amendement dat de toen voorgestelde verhoging van het box-3-forfait schrapte. Dat betekent dus niet automatisch dat de PVV iedere motie die nu hetzelfde effect heeft, steunt. De vorm en de bredere fiscale koers van het voorstel spelen mee. Het eerdere amendement heeft de verhoging toen daadwerkelijk geschrapt.

It looked like radical climate activism. Russia ran the operation.
Three defendants confessed in Ulm. Two men, 18 and 22, one woman, 21.
They moved to Germany from Bosnia, Serbia, and Romania. Moscow’s handlers paid them 100 euros per car to frame the Green Party and discredit climate policy before the Bundestag election.
The court called them “disposable agents. ” Accurate.
Now the sentence:
• Two men: 3,000 euros each to the state treasury • Woman: 50 hours of community service • All three sentenced under juvenile law
A foreign intelligence service coordinated 270 acts of sabotage at that price.
No prison. No asset seizure.
No investigation into the network that recruited them, moved them, and paid them.
The message to Moscow is unambiguous: this is cheap. A few thousand euros in fines, some community service, and the operation still achieved its goal.
The Greens were smeared, the public was confused, and the actual perpetrators walk away with a court record and a fine they can pay off with the next job.
Russia needs the cost of sabotage to stay low enough that recruitment never stops, making court victories unnecessary.
This verdict guarantees the next wave will be bigger. Ten times bigger is a conservative estimate.
The German legal system just set the market rate for Russian hybrid warfare on German soil: 100 euros per car for the saboteur, 3,000 euros per saboteur for the state.
Moscow will pay that all day.
