The good reason for separate single-sex changing rooms and public bathrooms is that 98% of sex offenders are men (zero evidence the statistics change for men who identify as women) and 88% of victims are women and girls.
That is actually segregation. It's just segregation that could be justified. Segregation isn't always wrong. But you have to have a good reason. It can't just be because you don't like XYZ

Scottish nurse Sandie Peggie is taking action against her own union, the Royal College of Nursing. She says her union reps didn't support her when she was suspended for complaining about using the same changing room as her transgender colleague Dr Beth Upton.
This is her second tribunal. Previously a judge upheld a harassment claim against her employer NHS Fife arising from the same facts.
Her team said they can’t tell Channel 4 News who is funding the case for legal reasons but they did say it was a 'left wing individual'.
JK Rowling's office won’t confirm if she is financially backing her.

Sen. Dick Durbin was the only Democrat to speak at today's Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on women's sports, declaring he would "refuse to treat this hearing like a responsible exercise of this committee," and "not ask questions."
He left the hearing soonafter, leaving no Democrats at the hearing at all.
