S52 premiere of @nbcsnl tonight! @jalenbrunson1 continues the legacy of #NYC sports personalities appearing on the show w/ @katseyeworld as MG. The tradition dates all the way back to the very 1st season, when @nyknicks forward Bill Bradley showed up unannounced on the the second-ever episode. The future Hall-of-Famer (and Senator) made a cameo during the goodnights to present host @PaulSimonMusic with a trophy in honor of his basketball skills. #SNL #SaturdayNightLive #LFNY

Both of them the finest and funniest I encountered on SNL

It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World was a crazy shoot. Director Stanley Kramer, best known for heavy dramas like Judgment at Nuremberg, assembled an Avengers-level lineup of comedy legends to make “a comedy to end all comedies.” It took 166 days to shoot, and at a time when Hollywood had only 100 stunt performers, 80 of them worked on this film.

“I’m not being defensive. You’re the one who’s being defensive. Why is it always the other person who’s being defensive? Have you ever asked yourself that? Why don’t you ask yourself that?”

This is the true me, Judge Alvin from Nothing But Trouble. The film cost Warner Brothers $38 million and made 4. It effectively ended my directorial career, but was the best experience thanks to having Spielberg’s crew—Dean Cundey, Cinematographer and Michael Lantieri, Special Effects. As well as William Sandell, Art Director. We came in under budget but the studio opened us against Jodi Foster in Silence of the Lambs and Julia Roberts in Sleeping With the Enemy. We didn’t have a chance. But I’m proud of the picture as a perfectly serviceable comedy. I can be and prefer to be addressed as Judge, by virtue of my serving as a sworn Canadian federal judge for 2 hours wherein I welcomed new immigrant families to Canada. So Judge Aykroyd will be fine. And also Doctor. Judge Doctor. Doctor. Doctor. Doctor. Doctor…

The one scene between Bill Murray and Chevy Chase in CADDYSHACK is obviously hilarious, but also helped end the feud between the two since their fight at SNL one year prior when Chase returned to host - a fight that was fueled by ego and status after Chevy became a big star. Bill Murray said this about what happened while filming the movie: “I’d never really done anything with Chevy. We’d always had sort of a… funny relationship. But it was like, ‘O.K., I liked that when you did that. Let’s just keep going.’ We kept going, and it was funny because Ty Webb’s not far from who Chevy is. So he was pretty comfortable in his space. And I was comfortable as Carl. So he could be free to laugh at me. And if Ty laughed, Carl thought it meant, ‘Hey, he’s my friend!’ It’s a really fun, self-aware example of whatever the heck Harold maintains the movie is about – status.”

The cast was breaking so much during dress rehearsal that Lorne Michaels told Will Forte to do less dancing so that the sketch wouldn't completely fall apart. It didn't matter, you can see each actor, one by one, fail to hold it together. That's the power of Will Forte.
