This is not true. This just makes people doubt peptides more. This is not a human study and very specific case in rodents. State the facts to explain your point

Slowing aging by just one year would add ~$400B per year to U.S. GDP. Slowing it by five years would add $2T - more than twice the annual U.S. defense budget. In 2024, the U.S. federal government spent roughly $2.6T on Social Security and Medicare (about 38% of total federal spending), and most of it was concentrated on older adults 65+. By 2029, this spending will grow to $3T every year. This structural and fiscal pressure of aging creates economic opportunity where even a small shift in biological aging could be transformative.

Highly positive panel on longevity trials at ARDD: Lowell Zeta (chief of staff) says longevity is a priority for the current FDA. There's now a point person for longevity trial design: Justin Penzenstadler (reviewer on GLP1s). Steven Kozlowski (chief scientist) working on guidance and tech specs, to be released first half of next year. Justin recommends the field forma precompetitive consortium for which biomarkers, how to include in trials. And to talk to regulators regularly.

New research suggests that “skin aging” may not be one single process. Scientists developed 2 different epigenetic clocks for skin: • One measures endogenous aging — aging driven from inside the body. • The other measures exogenous aging — damage driven by outside exposures like sunlight. Sun-exposed skin looked older on the exogenous clock, which makes sense. But here’s the interesting part: Sun exposure did not significantly accelerate the endogenous skin-aging clock. Even more surprising, one collagen-related gene, COL1A1, seemed to decline less with age in sun-exposed skin than in protected skin. That does NOT mean UV is “anti-aging.” But it does suggest the story may be more complicated than: “Sunlight simply makes skin age faster.” It may be possible for sunlight to increase photoaging in one pathway while having neutral—or even potentially protective/adaptive—effects in another. In other words: Photodamage and biological aging may overlap, but they are not necessarily the same thing. That’s a very interesting idea worth studying further. link.springer.com/article/10…

Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) is the best-known treatment for sleep apnea, a disorder that raises the risk of high blood pressure and other health problems. A new study suggests that using a mandibular advancement device (MAD) is just as effective as CPAP for reducing blood pressure in people with sleep apnea at risk for cardiovascular disease. #HarvardHealth buff.ly/Rk6SZmP

🚨 Lilly may have just topped retatrutide. Eloralintide 9 mg + tirzepatide 15 mg: 29% average weight loss at 31 weeks. For context, retatrutide 12 mg produced 28.3% at 80 weeks in Phase 3 TRIUMPH-1. Huge caveat: this was a tiny Phase 1b study, not a head-to-head trial. But 29% in 31 weeks is a WILD efficacy signal. $LLY $NVO

If myelin really is the brain’s proton capacitor then nnEMFs could be draining the charge before it even builds Maybe that’s why so many people wake up tired even after 8-9 hours of sleep You can’t recharge a system that never gets to hold its charge. ELECTRICAL DEBT
Sleep may literally be recharging your brain. A new theory states that myelin accumulates energy during sleep, acting as a proton capacitor.

A first important step
The University of Arkansas just launched the 1st U.S. based injectable BPC-157 Randomized Controlled Trial for tissue healing. They’re studying post-rotator cuff surgery healing through objective measures like strength testing, MRI, and range of motion. Also patient reported questionnaires on recovery (PROMs). This is what the science community and physicians needed. Enrollment starts Early 2027. First data likely to be seen Early 2028. I will keep you updated. clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT… #bpc #bpc157 #peptide #peptides #science #research

Can oral peptides work? Yes. KPV uses PEPT1. BPC-157 may work locally in the gut. Oral semaglutide uses SNAC to increase absorption into the bloodstream. “Peptides get destroyed in the gut, so oral peptides can’t work” is too simplistic. Full podcast in replies 👇
