If they detain someone with an order of removal then due process has been served. I don’t disagree that it is a gray area recently with Trump but let’s not forget that President Obama did the same process, he just didn’t get the protests and anti-ice brigade.
States have a duty to uphold state laws but federal laws do carry more weight. I’m still struggling to see where ICE has violated our constitution.
When previous administrations executed immigration laws they weren’t scrutinized like this one has been.
It can be argued that under the INA they are within their rights under the constitution. The lawmakers, Blumenthal included, granted those powers. If states worked with them instead of against a lot of the issues there have been would not have occurred.
He follows the law except when it suits him, there are laws against illegal entry but he does not want to enforce those….another case of rules for thee but now for me politics

They should have been more accountable for their actions. They would be alive today if they had not been duped into believing that enforcing US immigration laws were not required.
