DHS posted an AI generated image on September 10 captioned "Get off our roads, you don't know how to drive Mr. Singh," targeting Sikh truck drivers by their most common surname, then deleted it the next day and dismissed the backlash as nonsensical drivel. Three days later a Sikh truck driver, also named Singh, was followed into a Wyoming rest stop bathroom and stabbed 17 times, including twice in the neck. Andrew Bzdak was arrested within 90 minutes and charged with attempted first degree murder.
What is not established: Sweetwater County's sheriff says investigators have zero motive so far, and DHS has flatly denied any connection, calling the accusation reckless and false. What is established independent of this one case: Sikh Americans already rank as the third most targeted religious group for hate crimes in the country, and online slurs against South Asians rose 109 percent between 2023 and 2025.

The lawyer for the Venezuelan man shot by ICE in Austin yesterday says he was transferred out of the hospital while the bullet is still inside him, is not receiving any pain medication, and was forced to sleep on the floor.
Update on Wilber:
He is being held at Pearsall for interrogation and still has the bullet lodged in his body. He’s received no pain medication and had to sleep on the floor.

He is a U.S. citizen.
He was driving with another U.S. citizen to enlist in the Marines when he was pulled over and ripped from his car by ICE.
Someone started recording.
This is the horrific video.
While the boys were being beaten, they repeatedly tell the agents they are CITIZENS — and are ignored.
One agent told said, "I don't give a damn. Your parents can't help you now."
Both teenagers were detained for hours before being released.
They were preparing to serve this country - yet their citizenship did not protect them from being beaten, pepper-sprayed, and detained by their own government.
This is what the Nazis did then, and ICE does now.

An ICE officer shot and injured a man in North Austin this afternoon.
The man was taken to a hospital.
The shooting occurred near West Anderson Lane and Research Boulevard, where a major law-enforcement response followed.
Video from the scene shows officers still present.
People at the scene are claiming the man was shot in the back.

DHS’s response to allegations that it deported people to be tortured by a despotic regime in Africa far from their homes can be summarized as “So what, they deserve it.”
This is an administration that despises the basic idea of human rights and thinks it’s for suckers.
This poor excuse for a sob story from the @nytimes attempts to bury the fact that these two individuals are CRIMINAL ILLEGAL ALIENS with rap sheets a mile long.
DHS is applying the law as written. All illegal aliens, including the two mentioned in this story, receive due process. If a judge finds that an illegal alien has no right to be in this country, we are going to remove them.
The first individual, Samson Tesfay Birhane, a criminal illegal alien from Eritrea, was arrested by ICE on March 17, 2026. Birhane has an extensive criminal history including robbery, armed criminal action, drug possession, selling cocaine, marijuana possession, theft, and credit card fraud. He entered the United States legally but lost his status after receiving a final order of removal on June 16, 2026. He received due process.
The other individual in this story, Ahmed Mahmoud Soliman, a serial criminal illegal alien from Egypt, was arrested by ICE on October 17, 2025. His criminal history includes aggravated assault of a police officer, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, shoplifting, drug possession, synthetic narcotic possession, prescription drug possession, drug paraphernalia, and tampering with evidence. He was issued a final order of removal on October 22, 2025. He received due process.
The Trump Administration is utilizing all lawful options to carry out the largest deportation operation in history, just as President Trump promised.

Adam Abdullah is a 31 year old asylum seeker from St. Paul with a valid work permit, a Social Security number, and no record beyond two parking tickets. ICE arrested him in December, held him nine months across three states, then told him he was flying to Somalia with a refueling stop in Cuba. He was shackled the entire flight. There was no refueling stop. He has now spent weeks at Guantanamo Bay's Camp Six, built to hold terrorism suspects after September 11.
He is one of as many as 12 Somali men funneled through that base in recent weeks, most with clean records, after Trump spent the past year calling Somalis garbage and saying he does not want them here. DHS claims the group includes the worst of the worst, with a list of serious charges, but could not say which detainee committed which crime when asked. A man with a work permit and a Social Security number was shackled and flown to a terrorism prison after being told he was going home. That destination is the actual message.
Last month, ICE told 12 Somali men they were being deported to Somalia. Instead, they sent the men to Guantanamo Bay. motherjones.com/politics/202…
